Overall a nice place but very overpriced relative to what else is in Vail. Our fault, we had to delay booking until our kids exam schedules were determined and it cost us more updated properties, closer to Vail Village and $500-700 less per night.
Positives: The beds are SUPER comfortable, like high end hotel quality. Big living, dining, lounging area on upper floor. Felt very roomy. Also, this place sleeps a lot of people with 3BR's, sleeper sofas and the loft. The walk to shuttle is three very short blocks, took 2 minutes.
Negatives: Decor and Bathrooms were dated. The two showers on bottom floor were tiny, literally like 30' across. Kept banging arms on walls trying to wash ourselves. Felt like something you would find in a Navy ship. No private jacuzzi but there are a couple places they could add one.
House is in a good area. 5 mins walk to the shuttle. Or 3 mins drive to the gondola in vail village. It is extremely well stocked. It literally had multiples of everything which was great. Communication with property manager Beatta was great. I reached out one morning asking for more hair dryers and later on that day she brought 2 new beautiful hair dryers. House is very spacious. Bedrooms are very large. Kitchen is very well stocked with all possible spices.
Having said all that house is very dated and needs some updating. Bathrooms are very old. Showers are very uncomfortable. So tiny and dark. We were joking that it’s the size of the cruise ship showers. The shower door in master bathrooms is so low that water was splattering all over. The furniture is all new. But the pull out couch upstairs is very uncomfortable. It’s hard as a rock.
I think with some updating this could be a great house.
We had a great time. None of the things I mentioned bothered us much. I just wanted to give an honest review so that people know what they’re getting.
