** February 2025 now available due to an unexpected cancellation - message us with any questions ** The Hibiscus House is conveniently located less than a mile from Manasota Beach on a quiet little street and is surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and trees. The interior is mostly remodeled and is the perfect spot for a family or couples’ get-away, or for a remote worker desiring a change of scenery/ warm weather.

Manasota Beach is beautiful with the crystal clear blue waters much of the year that the area is known for. The water tends to be calm, making it great for children to play (plus there are lifeguards). Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins (manatees and turtles can also be spotted!). Parking and restrooms are available at no cost. Have fun hunting for shark’s teeth (we provide a sand rake and screen to help with your hunt!); also provided are beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards , sand toys, cooler, and a cart to roll it all out to the beach! Just bring yourself, your suit and your sunscreen.
After a day of fun, come back to the Hibiscus House and enjoy the newest addition - an OUTDOOR SHOWER! Inside, the ensuite shower has a window that looks out at the tropical plants in the backyard. There is a tub/shower in the other bathroom.
The open floor plan has the sitting area, dining area, and kitchen all in one space, so if you decide to cook, you won’t be removed from the fun. The kitchen is well equipped with everything from a blender and mixer to kids’ plastic dishes, and wine glasses. Outside you’ll find a gas grill.
Grab the rolling cooler we provide and take some wine and cheese and beach chairs back to the beach to catch a sunset - it’s a different show every night! Some of the locals like to come out wakeboarding many nights, which is fun to watch too!
When you’re ready to wind down back at the house, be sure to enjoy some time outside by the fire pit, where colorful Adirondack chairs sit in a circle, ready for catching up and bonding. We provide a propane tank upon arrival (additional tanks are $30 each). If you prefer to spend time inside, you’ll find puzzles, cards and games, as well as a Smart TV where you have Peacock Premium TV, and can also log into your Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu account. Hop on the lightning fast WiFi and share on social media what a fun time you’re having in SW Florida at the Hibiscus House.
When it’s time for bed, shut the room darkening curtains that each room is equipped with and enjoy a good night’s sleep. When you wake up, grab a cup of coffee from the coffee maker or Keurig and get excited for another day of coastal living!
