Relax & Reconnect at Lake Lure

Our cozy 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath duplex in the gated community of Lake Lure Village Resort is the perfect place to relax, your furry friends are welcome. Our unit is a short walk to the private beach, along a hiking path past a beautiful waterfall, and lakefront area.
Around the corner from Chimney Rock State Park for hiking and climbing and only 3 miles from Chimney Rock & Lake Lure for shopping and restaurants.

Please note that the Town of Lake Lure will be lowering the lake starting in November.

Relaxing Getaway

Our family absolutely loved staying here! We really enjoyed the layout of the house and how quiet the area was. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, and basic seasonings, which was a huge help during meal preparation. The kids loved seeing the waterfall nearby and sitting on the front porch. During our stay, we were able to see bear and other animals. The house was very clean and we had no complaints. The front sliding door was a bit tough to open and close, but it was such a minor detail in comparison to how wonderful everything else is!

Great place, easy walk to the lake.

We thought the cabin was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. We will stay there again if we get the opportunity. The only problem was the clunky sliding glass entry door. Hope it gets repaired or replaced soon.

super well stocked and clean. Absolutely lovely area. But please please please replace queen bed. It was the hardest squeakiest saggiest loudest bed I’ve ever been on.

Nice little place

We enjoyed staying. The beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The downside was the whisk in the drawer for use to make pancakes was rusted and one of the pans inside the cabinet was very dirty. We had an incident where a plunger was needed, thank goodness we figured it out and it did not overflow. No plunger was provided.

Excellent Stay

We had a great stay this past weekend. The property was in a gated community, which was a plus. Our rental and the surrounding area was beautiful. Rental was just like described. We saw deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and other wildlife. Definitely will stay here again.

Quiet retreat

This is a very clean and very quiet property. Loved the neighborhood with its amenities and the lake access. Will definitely be using Brian again as a host and his lovely home.

Perfect Mountain Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay! Just a short drive from all the things to do in both Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things needed to make meals and there were plenty of blankets hidden throughout the house to cozy up on the chillier nights. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

Nice & quiet

I liked it, besides a minor detail. 1 of the burners on the stove didn't work. Other than that, it was great. Very nice gated community. We saw deer & heard rumors of bears, but we never saw them. I would stay here again & I would recommend it to anyone.

Family Fun

We had a wonderful stay at this home; it was everything we wanted and more. The property manager was great and very easy to get along with. Our kids had a wonderful time staying at the house and fishing for minnows in the creek since the lake levels were too low for fishing from the cove. The town is close with lots of great outdoor hikes and activities that are both kid and dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for being such a great host!!

It was the perfect little space for our girls trip. Location was great to Lake Lure, gated community was clean, beautiful and we loved the hiking trail, waterfalls and sandy beach. We had a group of 5 and were very comfortable even sharing 1 bath which is very spacious. House was clean, we had plenty of linens, and it’s the most furnished kitchen I’ve ever seen in a VRBO. I will be returning with husbands and kiddos as well as my friends.

Lake Lure stay

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was very clean, well stocked with amenities, and in a safe gated community. The private community beach is about a 5 minute walk away. Close to Chimney Rock for hiking. Would recommend!
