About this property

Spectacular views and close to three ski areas; Stowe, Smuggler’s and Jay Peak.

Newly renovated private home with easy access to several ski areas, craft breweries, the VAST trail system for snowmobiling in winter or biking in summer and the Green River Reservoir. Enjoy warming in front of the gas fire. The kitchen has everything you’ll need from glassware to dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. The view from the deck and front windows is spectacular and there is no need to sweep snow off your car when you are parked in the attached two car garage. You may get to see wild turkeys in the yard while sipping your coffee. Sledding is available down the front lawn in the winter and in the summer, bocce or croquet can be enjoyed. An outdoor fire pit is available for cozy outdoor evenings. There are restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores and take out 1-2 miles away and yet you feel as though you are staying in a remote location. There is foosball and ping pong in the basement for those who wish to play. The owners live next door should any needs or questions arise.

Ski getaway

This was a beautiful house in a great location! Good proximity to a lot of local restaurants. The house was very clean and perfect for our group ski trip to Stowe. Hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate wth. Would absolutely stay here again!

AMAZING!

Really and truly one of the best rental properties we’ve ever stayed in. Ruth was so welcoming & quickly addressed the few questions we had before arriving. The house was super clean which was great since we had our crawling 11 month old son with us. Ruth had absolutely everything that we could need in the home - including a bunch of yard games & firewood which was great. Highly recommend!

Vermont Treasure!

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean and comfortable home. The views of the mountains were amazing. We so appreciate Ruth’s welcome basket, filled with homemade bread, jam and honey from her hives. In addition, she picked up a package for me, that I forgot to pack and brought it over. We would stay here again, without question!

Awesome !!

Has to be one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Amazed at how Ruth has thought of everything! Super clean, super streamlined and uncluttered and thoroughly welcoming place right down to the fresh flowers on the table and a well stocked coffee, hot chocolate and multi-tea stash w creamers and sweeteners. The little welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. Ruth is the hostess with the mostest. Will absolutely try to stay here again if it’s available for our needs. There wasn’t anything we needed that we didn’t have. Oh- and the views from this property — incredible. Perfect peak-leaf season mini-vacay. 😁👍👏🏼💕
