Charming little room and stay in this beautiful small town! The people are the nicest and they have the best little shops and restaurants! Would highly recommend Sweetwater and the Remedies Inn!
Hotel is right in the middle of a very quaint downtown area. Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. As other reviewers mentioned, the only downside is the train which runs several times a day/night.
This is one of the more unique rooms we have stayed in. Loved the decor, and the natural light from the windows. I loved people watching in the morning while having my coffee. Happened to meet the owner while we were exploring the town, and they were really friendly. Would stay here again if we are back in town.
We loved this stay! It is unique and we loved the history that was apparent in our room. We would definitely recommend this stay, and the quaint shops in the area are definitely worth the visits, and they are all within 2 - 3 blocks. Loved it!
Great room. Walking distance to all downtown has to offer.
Friendly people.
Great view. The train that comes through town is not that bad.
Its the atmosphere of the town.
Overall the room was very nice, with a vintage feel. It was convenient and the owner was very responsive. The reasons for my 4 stars have to do with railroad and street noise, hence ear plugs on night stand. The mattress was to soft, I don't mind soft, but this was not comfortable.

Pretty property! Wish there would have been a dead bolt on our door.
The McCrary Suite in Sweetwater, TN was a charming loft with a great location in downtown. The bed was very comfortable and the accommodations were perfect for a weekend stay. There was a Keurig provided with an assortment of delicious coffees to choose from which was much appreciated! We also walked to a local coffee shop just a few doors down and an ice cream parlor that was across the street. We enjoyed our visit and would love to stay again when we're in the area!
This place is full of history, being housed in an old pharmacy building. High ceilings. Huge space. Beuatiful marble floors and redone bathroom space. Kitchen area and huge couch, with a king-size bed in the main area of the room. Tons of shopping and places to eat in the quaint downtown. One downside--freight train coming through with horns blasting in the middle of the night. Noise machine and ear plugs provided, but not quite enough to block that out.
This place was awesome. You could definitely see the love was put into the restoration of the building. We had a great experience and highly recommend!
If you want a spot that is convenient to other things in East Tennessee and still have a quaint, charming, small-town hang-out to rest easy, this is ideal. Heather and her husband and father-in-law were very accommodating and we loved talking to them. They were very responsive to anything we needed, and if I could give them a 10, I would. :)
This property was right in the heart of downtown. It was charming and quaint. We didn't stay long, but it was so nice! The bed is so comfortable. We loved the setting!
