This open-concept bungalow is located in the heart of the historic South Park district of Dayton Ohio. The cozy property was originally built in 1843 and was renovated to carefully curating some of the original aspects of the home, such as the original wooden flooring, the gorgeous clawfoot tub and hardware, and one of a kind woodwork you can only find in an older home. The cathedral ceiling adorned with wooden beams makes for the perfect gathering space. Come stay with us!

Clean and comfy

The house was cute and clean. The large couch in the living room was comfy and the TV was easy to operate. Great place to gather. The kitchen had all of the essentials and was of good quality. We cooked 4 meals during our stay. The beds were comfy and the bedding was ultra soft and fluffy. No complaints here. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Great Place!

Had a great weekend at UD Arena and the place was perfect! Very clean and everything worked and was as advertised! Would definitely stay there again!

My stay in Dayton, Ohio

Great stay at this VRBO. I did not rate it a 5 because it was not above my expectations. It was nicely furnished but living room pic is not accurate, as there is now a white stained sectional in living room. The sectional shows stains that have been cleaned but because it is white, they are still visible so it gave me an initial vibe of, ew, ok, what’s going on. I’d advise covering sectional with cushion covers. However, sectional is definitely cleaned and smelled fine and I did use it. House has the bare essentials and is very clean — doesn’t have a cozy home feel. I do not mean any negativity at all because I would gladly stay here again if in the area and especially appreciated the wonderful clawed tub for soaking. Bring your slippers — the wood floor is beautiful but there are no cozy area rugs.

Delightful Discovery in Dayton

Our stay at the Adams Bungalow was the perfect respite for our hectic weekend in Dayton. The beautifully renovated bungalow retains many elements of the original 1898 building while creating a modern open home for the 21st century. Although excellent restaurants are within walking distance, the new kitchen is fully equipped for cooking dinner. The firepit and off-street parking are great extras. We loved exploring the historic South Park neighborhood. We all (two brothers raised in the Dayton suburb now called Riverside and a wife that has visited Dayton at least once a year for over 50 years) were delighted to discover a part of Dayton we did not know existed. We're sure to return!

really nice decor

We loved the decor. The mirrors, vintage hearty pine floors and the solid oak panel doors were all beautiful, as well as the furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was great. I will stay there again.

Great retreat during baseball tournament

We were in town for a tournament with my son. It was great to have the house to go back to and not be stuck in a hotel. We were able to walk toward the University to get food - lots of options. The space itself is great - has everything you need and is spotless. Communication was very efficient. Overall, if we are ever in Dayton again, we will definitely stay here.

Very inviting and historic house

Everything went according to plan. Loved the historic home and it's original floors and the tiling in the main bathroom. The TV size was an unexpected surprise and appreciated when we wanted to unwind and reset for more wedding activities. The neighborhood was quiet and chatted with a few friendly walkers. This was the perfect location. 5-10 minutes from all venues and other wedding guest. We did not use the kitchen very much but it looked well furnished. 5 stars.

Really Interesting Historic House

Adorable, safe stay in downtown Dayton

We had an excellent stay in Downtown Dayton. The location was perfect for for our needs at the convention center. We felt safe walking to breakfast each morning with our kids and had a great time at the close by Carillon Park. The only unfortunate aspect of the home was that we struggled to get phones and watches to charge in many outlets. The owners were available via messages and very responsive. We would completly recommend staying at this quaint home.
