Relax with family and friends at this spacious, four-bedroom home in Galveston! This coastal gem offers convenient Gulf and Bay access with all the essentials and amenities of home. Enter to an open-concept main living area featuring vaulted ceilings and strong natural lighting. Relax in plush leather sofas while streaming your favorite shows and movies on the living room smart TV. The full-size kitchen features expansive counter space and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, for easy meal prep and cleanup. Morning coffee can be enjoyed at the four-seater breakfast bar while everyone can dine together at the dining table set for six. A set of TV trays are provided to accommodate four more. A primary bedroom on the main floor features an en suit bathroom and smart TV. The laundry room, at the back of the house, also comes equipped with a shared, half-bath.

Upstairs, three guest rooms share a full bathroom. Each bedroom features its own smart TV for added convenience.

Beach house stay

It was a very nice house. The only thing was wrong is underneath the couch was trash. And we couldn’t find a dust pan.

Disappointing

The house was nice, the amenities were not as advertised and after spending most of the short time we were there dealing w Vacasa’s customer service it remains unresolved. Hopeful they follow up to do so in the next few days. Going forward it’s unlikely I’ll book with a Vacasa managed property.

Over all not bad but needs improvement

The house is pretty and relatively clean. However, there are minor details tha need cleaning. The light bulbs and fans are all dusty and half of the fridge is dirty too. Also the faucet handle needs to get fixed because it’s damaged. Also the numbers on the burners are all erased, which makes it hard to use. Under the beds, it’s all dusty. Honestly, the only thing the house needs is a deep clean. Other than that, the beds are comfy and pretty, it has everything that you would want, even spices !!! It has many necessary pots and pans. Also the wifi isn’t bad. The ac is so nice. Overall the only thing it needs is a deep clean.

Clean and nice.....but

Here's the thing, it's a nice house in a decent location. The issue I have is that they are not responsive. We complained that the dryer was broke on the first day. The property manager claimed they were sending someone out that day, the next day, etc. and it never got fixed. I go back to look at Vacasa reviews and apparently it's been broken since December. We also at one point had just half the power go out on the side of the house which included the Internet router. Now we can't clean clothes and we can't use the Internet including all the TVs which are streaming services. I was underwhelmed by the service.

The very first entry into the home it smelled stale and smelled like a dirty dog. The upstairs bathroom had hair on the baseboards etc. We cleaned a bit and burned candles we brought. The house is showing it's wear and for a brand new home this was surprising none the less it is a beautiful home with plenthy of towels and a very well stocked kitchen. Sorry to say we had many issues during our stay and instead of the 6 nights we were supposed to stay we only stayed 2 nights. There was no wifi ( there was a storm the night before so there was an outage in the area) . There was no cable. The stove did not have a consistent heating element on two of the burners. The garbage disposal was not working so the kitchen sink was slow to drain and after washing clothes we discovered the dryer wasn't working. All of these inconveniences were never addressed by the local office. I called vacasa corp office at least 2 to 3 times a day wanting an update as of today we have not gotten a call or any contact from the local office. One of the days someone was supposed to show up to make repairs no one came and no call. On the day we were trying to decide if we should leave or if the local office would show up to make repairs I stated we needed to hear something within that hour to decide if we in fact needed to check out early as of today still no call. This was a very expensive house to rent we had 3 generations coming together in a middle location to enjoy one another. Our vacation was ruined. The biggest issue all corp says is we have to wait for the local office to respond well that local office has yet to make contact with me. I have asked for the 4 unused days to be refunded reply we have to wait for the local office to respond. I have not asked for a discount on the 2 days we stayed with so many things not working but do feel we are more than entitled to the 4 unused days. This house has so much potential but you need appliances cable and wifi to work as those items are part of what you are paying for. We tried to make the best of our stay but we left heartbroken and the sacrifice of splurging on this home for our precious time together down the drain.

House Made Beautiful but Has Problems

This was a lovely house. However, there were several things found wrong during our stay. For instance the dryer was not working and we only figured that our because lotion spilled in one of our small bags and we hand washed it then tried to dry it. I find this very concerning because if I didn’t report it as soon as we realized, anyone could have been blamed for it being broken. Also it is understandable that the Home is a Beach House made for summer but it is poorly insulated. My family and I stay at a different beach House each year on Christmas and never had a problem with a home being too cold even with heat on. Another problem was the wifi, which is understandable a cold storm did happen but the wifi was out before the cold storm actually landed. Therefore I did not know whether or not that was really the problem or something else happened. There was other things wrong but this review is long enough. My family and I enjoyed ourselves as much as we could. The stay was not terrible but concerning things did happen.

Perfect family getaway!

Blue Crab Lagoon was just as listed ! Enough space and amenities for everyone. Good location but terrible mosquitos, due to recent rains. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the host for sharing their lovely beach home!

Family beach weekend

We stayed for the weekend in august and had a great time! Would suggest a book in the property that explains check out procedure, Wi-Fi password, things to do, etc. there were no Board games like most properties have. Drawers and linen closets could be better organized (bath towels and shampoo in half bath? No grill tools? Patio furniture cushions stored in locked garage?) for the most part it was clean and accommodating. Beds were comfortable. A/C was cold. Dehumidifiers kept the dampness out of the air. Loved seeing all the sea birds in the pond each morning. Very quiet neighborhood. Thank you!

Beautiful home great view

First day we had no AC it was very hot things were clogged up and the fridge wasn't really cold. But the next day they did come and fix the AC and took care of all the issues. Granted we were refunded $100 for the day which is close to nothing for as much as it cost to stay there.

Overall a nice house. Plenty of room and clean. We could only find one bath towel at first. For some reason they were put in only one bathroom. And the cable wouldn’t work. Called the number for help. Was told to reset it all. Did that. Nothing!! Send 2 emails with no response back. Out of 4 tvs only 2 remotes would work. We had to sign into our own Hulu account to watch anything. And no hand soap of any kind was there. I brought shower soap but had to use my Dawn in the kitchen for everyone to wash their hands. Not convenient at all.

Amazing Vacation Home Away from Home!

Galveston hideaway

This is a beautiful home. It’s nestled away in a small but quaint community that isn’t close to others where privacy is a big plus. It’s close proximity to beaches is also a pleaser. Love the little lake behind the property as this is serene to view. Those beds were amazingly comfortable and let’s talk about the master shower, it’s huge and spa like. Overall I love this property. The only thing lacking is I wish the maintenance crew would spend a little more attention to details on cleaning as there were hair and lint on the staircase. Oh and maybe some curtains on the front door as it’s made of glass and I won’t lie, at night sleeping in the downstairs bedroom was a bit creepy because someone could see you straight through that glass door into the bedroom. Also there were no remotes or a switch for the shutters to cover the back patio deck so once you roll that down you wouldn’t be able to roll it back up. Oh and the half bathroom downstairs didn’t have any soap which made it a bit awkward since you presumably would want to wash your hands after using the restroom…just my thought.

New and Clean!

The best part about this home is that is was built in 2020 so everything is new and clean. Beds were also comfortable and the views off the deck we nice. The kitchen did not have a ton of pots and pans but we make it work. The house had a crab trap and we caught lots of crabs in the little lake area behind the house.
