Lake Michigan gem in Wisconsin

Stunning lakefront views from this charming cottage that is close to beautiful parks, great museums and wonderful restaurant. Our second time staying here and hope to return.

Great two bedroom two bath beachfront views and walking. The second bedroom lounge on the lower level would be better decorated to the quality of the master bedroom unit, but is as advertised.

Excellent Lake Michigan Views!

Echoing many of the reviews already shared, the closeup view of Lake Michigan is impressive whether you're inside the home or lounging outside on the great wraparound deck. Depending on the weather, you can get beautiful bright blue calm water to raging waves crashing on the shoreline frontage. Fortunately, our 3-day stay was very nice with great sunny weather and mostly calm water that made our overall visit so much more enjoyable. The inside/outside home amenities & accommodations were good including the accessibility of very good restaurant options and shopping in the Sheboygan & Kohler area only 10-15 minutes away. If you're traveling through the Oostburg area and want to stay somewhere quiet in the woods with Lake Michigan at your fingertips, the photos in the property listing tell the story.

Beautiful Location

The house was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Big picturesque window that made you feel like you were literally dining on the lake. Very peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had a lovely weekend, hanging out and catching up. The living area is simple but cozy and the view can’t be beat. It’s nice to have the separate sleeping areas and bathrooms. King bed is very comfy. The weather warmed up enough to spend time on the deck in the sun, which was fabulous!

Such a beautiful place

Quaint, comfy, with a gorgeous view!

We loved this property. It’s cozy and very comfortable with stunning views to the east and south of the mighty Lake Michigan. Let the waves mesmerize you from the comfort of your living room or outdoor deck. I mean, it just does not get better than this. The host was very welcoming. The check in process a breeze. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Perfect Getaway at the Lake

Absolutely love this home. The location is stunning. Seems too good to be true, but Lake Michigan is literally your backyard! Small house with everything you need. Little things that make a big difference: no rationing of paper goods, really nice shampoo/ conditioner, lots of outdoor seating, well lit exterior, filtered water, trays for carrying food/drink to the deck, tons of nice towels. And it's really clean. Just as advertised. Cassie did a lot of things to make us feel very welcome. It was a lovely visit! Things to know: 2nd bedroom is in the basement. Had its own external entrance, which is great, but you've got stairs up inside or out, so just be aware if you have any restrictions. No dishwasher, which doesn't matter to me but might to some. When i come again next year I'm going to bring my plastic patio dishes (i consider my clumsy self lucky i didn't break anything) and a 2nd dog gate so my pup with no recall can be loose on the deck. Oliver could watch the waves and seagulls all day! Places we can't wait to go back to: Oostburg Bakery Kohler-Andrae State Park Surf Daze!

A relaxing getaway

My husband and I needed a week away together, and this was just was the doctor ordered. The house is right on the lake and has a lovely deck where you can sit out and read, play games, and eat while you listen to the waves. The house is charming, clean, and has everything you need. There is a cute coffee shop in the nearby town and state parks a little over a 10min drive away where you can walk along the beach and hike around some sand dunes. You get a beautiful sunrise over the lake and a sky full of gorgeous stars at night. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Paradise Found!

Perfect Family Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Surdaze last week! Cassie was a very kind and responsive host. Very clean and cozy home with all the accomodations you would need. This was our first time visiting this area. Most days spent at Kohler-Andrea walking the beautiful trails and relaxing on the beach! Sheboygan riverwalk restaurants and pier were fun spots at night. Blast icecream was a favorite for us! We spent one afternoon at Sheboygan Quarry Adventure Park. Our older kids had so much fun on the water inflatables! We were spoiled with beautiful weather all week and enjoyed a lot of time outside on the deck and using the firepit at night. Watching how the lake would turn new shades of blue throughout the day and the moon reflecting over the lake at night..we couldnt decide which view we loved more! It was truly breathtaking and the perfect week away with our family to reset and relax! Thank you again for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning again!

Great Lake front stay

My wife and I stayed at Surfdaze for 4 nights over the 4th of July and we had an amazing time. Nothing beats watching the sunrise over the lake in the morning and the moon shining bright at night from the deck. Location was 10 out of 10. The cottage was clean and had all the essentials you need! We are planning our return trip already!

I am from the Oostburg area and have always spent my summers on and in lake Michigan. When the opportunity came to own our frontage I took it! I love to share my favorite place with our guests and show them everything that Lake Michigan has to offer.
