Beautiful cabin!
We certainly enjoyed out stay at this beautiful cabin near Monticello. Our kids have only been thrilled with 2 places we have stayed, one on the beach in San Diego, and now this one. The spaciousness was wonderful, and the views of the mountain out the west were breathtaking. The beds and sofa beds were comfortable, and there were adequate quantities of hot water, and adequate heat. The kids especially loved the upper loft. We hope to return someday and stay at this cabin again!

Canyonlands Lodges, the Bunkhouse
We loved the bunkhouse in Blanding, UT. Very peaceful, clean, and great experience. The locals were very friendly So much to see nearby. We were only disappointed with 2 things: one is that we did a search for Moab, UT where we wanted to stay since our focus was Arches National Park. We were dismayed to learn the Bunkhouse we reserved was almost 2 hours south. And two: the pet fee is steep, being more than double the norm. Perhaps they could consider a refundable pet deposit instead. Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely

Perfect for Reunion
I booked 2 cabins and the Blue Mountain Lodge with Josh from Canyonlands Lodging for a family reunion of 50 people. The pictures on the website were appealing and it was one of the few places that was able to accomodate our group for a reasonable price. I was relieved to know that towels and sheets were included with the lodge so our group didn't have to worry about that. Also provided was cooking tools, utensils, and dining ware. When I first entered the lodge, I was shocked by the space on beauty of the property. The pictures on the website did not do it justice. It was rustic but very fine and elegant. It turned out to be the perfect spot for our reunion and I hope to return soon.

White Pine Cabin
Lovely little cabin, just the right size for a family of 5. Wonderfully stocked kitchen and bath. You could come with a toothbrush and clothes and be ready to go (you'd of course need to stop at a grocery store, too!) Perfect location to see and do everything Southeast Utah has to offer (even some stuff in Colorado). Our girls loved the dogs (they talked about them all the way there), the wilderness right outside the door, and that they had there own loft area to retire to each night. We loved everything. Manager took such great care of us. Went out of his way to deliver b'day flowers and balloons that came for one of my girls while we were there. We will definitely be back (this was our 2nd trip in 2 years to Canyonland Lodgings). :)

White Pines Cabin is perfect!
Why would anyone ever stay in a hotel or motel when places like this are available? Wonderful hosts! A warm, cozy, and well equipped cabin. Peace and quiet at it's best. Close to nature with daily visits by a family of deer and breathtakingly beautiful bluebirds. Cannot recommend this facility highly enough and would give it six stars if we could. Perfectly situated for visits to ancient ruins, Canyonlands, Arches, etc. Thanks Jerry! We hope to see you folks again someday. Dave & Pat

Great Place
This place is actually a few miles south of Monticello. Well worth the drive! We stayed in the Ranch Cabin. What a nice little spot! Extremely clean and comfortable! My wife and I are very picky. She usually demands 5 star and no less! She lived this little cabin! So much nicer than chain hotels. Out in the wilderness, everything was quiet and relaxing. I would stay again in a heartbeat. The management is very nice and friendly as well. Easy access from the road, but a little ways off. Don't pass it by.

Ranch Cabin
This is the first time I have ever used Homeaway. Let me tell you, If this is any indication of what the future might bring, I am a customer for the rest of my life. This was the most perfecgt spot. The night time sky when clear is absolutley breathtaking. The Milkyway is clear to see, L haven't seen that since my Grandmother's in the middle of west texas and she passed in july 1999. This was the most peaceful place i have ever stayed at and the interior of the cabin was impressive. If we ever get to come back to this area I hope we will be able to stay here again.! Thank you Jerry and Tina..

Great Family Get Away
My extended family and I visited the lodge for an after Christmas getaway. The lodge is wonderful, the care taker is attentive, and the scenery and location is spectacular. There was 15 of us, 8 adults and 7 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful Place for a Family Reunion!!
What a wonderful place for a family reunion. We loved the space for the children to play. We went to Monticello and found the road to go to the very "TOP" of the mountain that you can see from the back deck of the Lodge.YES we did it! We had a very nice picnic in an aspen grove on the way back down. We hiked into the Ballroom Cave. Amazing! 21 of us made it in, the youngest being 2 months old. Thank you for sharing such a delightful place with us. There are so many things to do and see here. We hope to return at a future date. WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE. William

Night of Tranquility
We found your home when browsing the web for places to stay on our week long trip to Utah. A beautiful place to slow down and re-energize after a weeks worth of scenic drives, State and National Parks, and Hotels. Our only regret is not getting here sooner and having but one night to spend in this tranquility. Shane and Kim, P. Fargo, North Dakota

Amazing
We were blown away when we walked in the cabin. We did not expect such great wood work and the amazing setting. It was very comfortable. We are a tour company called Back Country Adventure Tours and the guest that we took there were also in awe of the place and are hoping to come back for another visit. If your into hunting you will like all the animals in the place as well, if your not be prepared.

My Night in Utah
My husband and I immensely enjoyed our night stay at the Lodge. The causal atmosphere provided a night of peace and quiet. We loved the lodge, but we especially appreciated sitting on the deck at night and looking at the stars and sky. We have already recommended the lodge to several friends and family as a great place to stay for a couple, a family and/or a family reunion. The lodge had everything we needed and more and the hosts were most gracious. Thanks for a wonderful day and night.

What a Great Lodge
May 1st, 2010 I am back in my office in Belgium. We received an email saying the Jerry and Tina wouldn't be there when we arrived, that everything would be ready and to make ourselves at home! I wrote back and said that it would feel odd after some 20 hours of continuous voyage, to come to a place we had never seen, and to enter a house we had never lived in. Well, I was wrong! Dead wrong! When on May 1st at 10:00 PM we arrived at the lodge, we knew we had made the right choice. When we entered the temperature was perfect. The warmth of the log lodge and the soft lighting made us feel right at home. Everything was perfect! You were right Tina, and we thank you alot. Paul and Dominique from Belgium

Multiple families
We stayed at Canyonlands Lodge in June 2010. We had five families with a total of 26 people. There was plenty of room. We were so impressed with how clean and well maintained the lodge was. The kids loved the loft and all fought to sleep in it. We loved how secluded it was from neighbors. It really felt like our very own private getaway. Loved the view of the mountains and the little lake. Tina and Jerry were always willing to help and answer any questions. When minor things came up, they came right over to take care of it. I must have emailed Tina 50 times before our trip and she was always patient with me. This place is wonderful for people of all ages. It is within an hour's drive to most national parks. We really did not feel the hour drive was terribly long. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely return for another stay.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy!!
This was a magnificant lodge, the pictures do not even do it any justice, it is just fabulous. It was very clean and well-maintained, had a supply of dishes, pots and pans to create anything. It was so peaceful and has beautiful views of the Blue Mountain! It is the perfect place for any age group to enjoy while going to the various nearby activities, or to just stay and relax!

A Slice of Heaven
What an absolutely wonderful find on the internet. We came here to rest, relax, and recuperate after retirement from a pressured occupation just prior to leaving to serve a 3 year mission. We were invigorated beyond our expectations! This has been a slice of heaven that will help us help others find a literal "heaven". Thank You for sharing this precious resource
