My mom and I love this cabin for our annual get-away. It is perfect for what we need and like and it's located in a beautiful, scenic area. The owners are very responsive and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. I'm sure we'll be back!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The home was cute and easy to find, it’s right off the highway on a dirt road. Access to the home is easy the dirt road is maintained. The home has everything you need for your stay and if you’re planning on making meals the kitchen has all you need as well. We were very thankful to know they have a high chair which if you’re a parent you already travel with so much so that helps with packing. The home felt spacious and it had a really nice deck. From the deck you have a nice view of the mountains and the horses. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would go back!
The Cabin was extremely cozy. Slightly off the beaten path. We saw elk herd from the front porch. Snowy mountains in the distance. The host was very responsive and offered additional advice information on local stores, accommodations etc. It was a great getaway for our family.
Location is within reach of many fun adventures.
We really enjoyed this property. The location was fantastic and we saw elk and deer during our 4 night stay. I loved how dark it was at night with no light pollution at all. It was also the quietest place I've ever stayed both outside and inside. The owners have several homey touches in the cabin which was a bonus. Only downside was no network tv and this was clearly stated in the advertisement so it wasn't a surprise. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
My family of four loved staying here. Everything was clean. The couches were super comfortable recliners. One mattress was firm while the other was soft so everyone’s preferences were covered. My family LOVED the hummingbirds, barn cats, and even the horses at the Animal Clinic down the road. It was peaceful with beautiful view. We would stay here again.
We came to colorado to ride motorcycles and had trucks and trailers with us. The host was super accommodating and made it super easy and fun. The place is right near the gas station, but far enough from the road to be peaceful and quiet at night. The place was spotless clean, and had everything we needed, comfy beds, complete kitchen with dishes and utensils. Comfortable furniture to relax after a long day of riding! Even had Hulu! Having the host close by was a huge bonus for us as we felt good leaving our stuff there while we were out adventuring. We can’t wait to come back to Colorado and will book here again if it’s available!
The entire stay was absolutely incredible. The views are breathtaking and the house is great.
Our experience was wonderful. Jerod was a phenomenal host and staying here was the best experience we could have asked for. 6/5 stars!!!

Beautiful area but directly next to owner
The pictures do the views justice but the owners live directly next to the cabin, which none of the pictures or description portrayed. If you are looking for somewhere that is all alone, this is not it. The owners didn't interfere and hardly knew they were there but we honestly had looked for something that was a stand alone. You can see Pike's Peak from the deck but not a full view as the deck next door obstructed it but views all other ways were gorgeous. The house was very clean and had nearly everything one would need. There was not a grill which I should have paid more attention to when choosing a place. Overall a good experience. Just wanted people to know that this is NOT an out of the way, by yourself cabin as I thought it was.
Follow the directions the property manager gives you and you won’t have any problems finding the place! Good price, clean, and quiet. I would recommend.
