Villa La Mer - modern villa near Dubrovnik for twelve guests with a pool

Welcome to the modern three-story villa with stunning views of Zaton Bay. 500 m² of living space occupy the contemporary interior, each level with a balcony or a terrace. Floor to ceiling windows cover two sides of the house and allow for spectacular views of the Adriatic and the lush green landscape covered in pine and cypress trees. Ensuite bedrooms are on the upper floors while the open plan kitchen, dining area and a lounge with a luxurious sofa and a flatscreen TV are all found on the ground floor showcasing clean white walls and simple elegance. Jacuzzi, sauna,fitness corner and table tennisare also provided for your enjoyment. From here access the large terrace leading to the pool as well as barbecue facilities with alfresco dining table. Welcome to Villa La Mer.
With five bedrooms ten adult guests are comfortably accommodated. Two of the bedrooms each have a sofa making room for two more if needed.
Located just 10km west of Dubrovnik, Zaton Bay is abundant in marvelous beaches with calm clear water. Plenty of restaurants and shops are available within walking distance. For a full experience of the area we invite you to visit infamous city Dubrovnik, which just may be the most popular destination on the Adriatic coast, for a good reason. Formed in seventh century and since scarred by many of its rulers today it displays a rich cultural history and historical significance. Protected by UNESCOpedestrian onlycharming Old Town is enveloped in 10thcentury city walls, 2 kilometers in length, in some parts 6 meters tall. It is a must stroll! Stradun, or Dubrovnik’s placa, is a picturesque street lined with cafés and restaurants, aperfect view point to admire the architecture and watch the world go by while enjoying fresh catch of the day and sipping on a glass of Malvazija. Lovely and comfortable place for stay!

A fantastic villa photos do not to it justice plenty of room for us all, villa was spotless with everything we needed we loved the extra touches such as the bath robes Already talk of people wanting to return a quiet location but just what we needed to relax and enjoy Dubrovnik

Lovely and comfortable place for stay!

What a stunning villa! If you are thinking about booking this villa do it!! Peter was absolutely excellent. He met us at the villa and explained everything. We were taken back by the stunning views and the surrounding area. The pictures don’t do it justice! Amazing, clean & beautiful. We were celebrating my daughters up & coming wedding and Peter had arranged everything we asked for. If you are looking for transfers by taxi to Dubrovnik Uber is the cheapest Also you have to visit Tata,s Burger & cocktail bar as the Burgers were outstanding. This villa is probably one of the most outstanding places we have stayed. We hope to return one day.

Special place!

If your looking for a beautiful, well equipped, fun but elegant villa for family or bunch of friends this really is your best option in Dubrovnik. It in bay of Zaton literally a 7-10 min drive from old town but let me tell you Zaton itself is a beautiful bay with amazing restaurants and I’m a foodie. This place is on the list to return too.

Glorious residence!

Admirable and clean accommodation!

Admirable and clean accommodation!

Could not recommend this villa enough. It is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and all the amenities you could want. The villa is even better than the photos and the host couldn’t have been more friendly, efficient and welcoming. He helped with local recommendations and an amazing speed boat trip. Every room has incredible views, the beds were comfortable, there’s plenty of outdoor seating and loungers. The pool and hot tub were pristine and the little added extras such as fruit on the dining table and a glass of bubbly as a welcome drink. It’s easy to get cabs from the villa. We used Ante who has a mini bus and was fantastic - he is available on Uber. We will definitely be returning. This was the most stunning place we have stayed.

Beautiful Villa!

This Villa is simply stunning! Bright & clean - overlooking the most amazing views. Everything is thought through - the pool & hot tub were amazing. Pero, the Villa Host greeted us with Prosecco, fresh fruit & croissants - which was very welcome after our early morning flight, he is incredibly helpful and is available to help make your stay amazing. We came to celebrate some special birthday milestones - the Villa was perfect for this! Cannot wait to rebook and come back again soon.

Amazing property

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful home. We were 5 couples each with our own bedroom and private bath. The owner Pero met us there on our arrival. The fridge was stocked with juice, beer, milk, etc. to get us started. There are spices, tea, coffee in the cupboard. He brought fresh figs, potato chips, pretzels and had champagne in the bucket to share a drink with us. Pero also arranged our transportation to and from the airport as well as another excursion. He was also very informative about the area. The view from every room in the house was spectacular. Restaurants and grocery store 5 minute walk down the hill. We were absolutely thrilled to have found this home on VRBO

Excellent family house.

Peter was a very responsive and helpful manager both before we arrived and during our stay. The house and pool were perfect for our large family with 4 children under 7 years. The layout allows easy close supervision of the children in the pool . The area is beautiful and unspoilt. We had some great boat trips. Could have used a couple more umbrellas for shade and the road to be crossed to the sea is a bit hair raising We would definitely go back. Thank you. Eileen Gallagher

Stunning!! What you see, is what you get!!

This place is stunning!! What you see is what you get and more..... The location is just far enough away from Dubrovnik’s chaos, but easily reachable when desired. Cannot say enough good about it....

Perfect!!!

Nine of us stayed in this beautiful villa at the end of our sixteen days in Croatia and it was the perfect place to spend our last few days. Pero greeted us upon our arrival and could not have been more welcoming and gracious. The house is stunning with unbelievable views from every window. It is beautifully appointed and stocked.

Paradise

We had a fantastic week at the Villa. The location was excellent, with a great view over the bay of Zaton. The Villa was nice and everything was in good order. The highest rated restaurant in Trip advisor for Dubrovnik was only some minutes by taxi away, Konoba Veranda at Stikovica. It was hard to find parking around the wall of the old town so we only went the following nights by taxi which was very cheap and saved time. If you are looking for a peaceful place, we highly recommend this Villa. The owner was very helpful, and gave us good advices about what to do.

Wir haben eine Woche in dieser herrlichen Villa verbracht. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen und alles ist perfekt organisiert. Die Bilder und Beschreibungen entsprechen zu der Realität und besser noch - Es ist noch viel schöner! :-) Einfach traumhaft. Wir waren mit der Familien hier und die Villa eignet sich perfekt dafür. Wir, mit unseren 2 Kindern und deren Familie. Und gerade auch weil die Villa in absoluter strandnähe ist, kann die Lage nicht besser sein. Es ist ruhig aber alles ist schnell zu erreichen. Man kann hier tolle Grillabende verbringen, entspannte Tage genießen oder sich einen der zahlreichen Sonnenuntergänge anschauen. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wer es bevorzugt nicht auswärts zu Essen, hat hier alle Möglichkeiten. Ich habe jedes Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer genossen. Dubrovnik und die ganze Region gefällt uns so gut, dass wir im Herbst bestimmt wieder kommen. Leider wird Dubrovnik nur im Sommer angeflogen, echt schade.

Wonderful Villa in Excellent Location

We are a party of 10, being a mix of couples and friends that booked this villa for one week in June. The villa is excellent - all the rooms have ensuites so there's no need to share, the space is fantastic, and the villa is located right near the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. For a night in the town Dubrovnik, is an easy taxi ride away (around 10 minutes). There's plenty to do and see in 30mins-45mins drive from the villa. You can also book a chef for the evening if you don't feel like cooking, Definitely want to come back to this villa again!

First Class Villa

Fantastic luxury villa in Zaton. Very private grounds with fantastic large terrace and pool. Great rooms and facilities. Close walking distance to beach and beach restaurants, fine dining only in Dubrovnik that is just around the corner. Organisation by the owner was really great and he organized for us pick up transportation from airport to the Villa. Thoroughly recommend this Villa.

Amazing Croatia

10 of us stayed in this beautiful and amazing Villa for a week and we absolutely loved it! It was great to have our own space, privacy and especially our own pool. Only a quick walk to the beach and restaurants and a perfect view from the all rooms! Would definitely stay here again! Dubrovnik is a beautiful little place just a bit too crowded during the day - I can only recommend to visit the old town in the evenings.

Incredible country - beatiful villa

This was our first time in Croatia. This villa is located in Zaton really very near to Dubrovnik. . We were five couples and the house was big enough for all of us and offered nice add-ons like the pool, the whirlpool, a beautiful terrace, a wonderful view to the Zaton Bay. The villa was clean, well maintained, well equipped and our host was very accommodating to all our questions.If you are looking for an authentic Croatian holiday experience, away from the touristy areas, this part of Croatia and this villa is a great place for a quiet relaxing holiday. Pero - we will be back again!

Marvellous experience

This place was gorgeous and Ms. Frohlich was such nice to work with! The facilities were brand new and the house was very well maintained. We enjoyed staying at the house to relax by the pool and barbecue -- but also found it so convenient to drive to Dubrovnik which is only 10 minutes away by car.. I would highly recommend this villa and hope I can go back in 2018

Fabulous house - very nice location near Dubrovnik

We had a fabulous family holiday at this villa. There was plenty of room for our two families. The pool was well, the whirlpool and fitness room also :-)) This villa really offered everything we needed. It is very close to Dubrovnik - in walking distance to the beach an a few restaurants. The owner is more than convenient to work with, the agent Ms. Frohlich was also very usefull with tipps where to go and what to do and see while in this area. It is really and extraordinary place for vacation and to enjoy the Croatian sun.

A fabulous villa in an amazing area

We fell in love with this villa from the minute we stepped foot into it. Ten of us total vacationed here for two weeks. We each had plenty of room to relax together or separately in this spacious villa. The villa itself is modern style, open, spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The living room is well furnished for relaxing near the pool and whirlpool.......just a few steps outside the living/dining room door. The kitchen is well equipped for the many meals we cooked,, but we also ordered a chief who made delicious Croatian meals and we tried a couple of restaurants in the area. Dubrovnik is a MUST SEE but very crowded and we were very happy to get back to our villa Every time we came home we were so taken by the beauty and privacy of this villa. Pero is a very good host - who was there for any questions we had. We were sad when we had to leave our new found favorite getaway... We will be back - for sure!

Great Place

We arrived prior to our check due to our early flight arriving in the morning in Dubrovnik on a very sunny day. We were staying 3 weeks in Croatia were flying into Dubrovnik and out of Pula up north back to the UK. I had spoken to the owner who had been fantastic with his responses and said it was ok for us to come by to drop off before check in. The Villa is situated in a nice bay just around the corner of Dubrovnik. Prior to arriving we got some useful information about the area and places we could visit. The Villa was fantastic and the beaches in the area didn't get overcrowded even though there was a group of 10 of us...:-) The pool was great and some of us used the Jacuzzi. Just right i think. The pictures show the villa exactly how it is. Overall it was a good stay and definitely worth recommending! Would definitely stay again if I visit Croatia.
