Benicia,the Bay Area's best kept secret,has its downtown on the water w/stunning sunset & hill views,enjoying the best bay areas weather.Quaint fishing & boating mecca offers sport fishing guides & yacht clubs.Huge community pool rec center is nearby & it is walking distance (1 mile) to 1st Street Downtown, which is full of eateries,antiques & art.Historical California's 2nd Capitol,has it’s first a court house & the Camel barracks museums is very interesting .Many parks & numerous golfing opportunities.dummer Farmer's Market is Thurs.6 Flags Park in nearby Vallejo.

Computer monitor & mouse,hi speed Wi-Fi, a black & white Wi-Fi printer at library table desk w/ document shredder. Adult bikes + a kid's bike bolt on to pull tykes behind. Helmets on sight. The conditions are NOT monitored.there are tire pumps in garage- manual & electric. There is a TRX strap & a nordic trak ellipticalin garage. We offer very comfortable adult bedrooms w/over sized beds plus bunk bed bedroom for kids, & we have pac-n-play portable crib & high chair, plus stairway safety gate. 60" 4D TV swivel wall mounted in the great room, w/ DIRECTVinternet with Roku in living room & master. DVD movies, Play station games on living room tv. Roku, & sound bar. Full kitchen with all the gadgets. Microwave glass pop corn popper for THE best popcorn. 2 ice chests. Natural gas deluxe Weber bbq &patio heater. Guest manual has local restaurant menus & points of interest. 2 covered patio tables.
PLEASE NOTE: Two story & ALL bedrooms are upstairs. Bedrooms have privacy door locks.The doorbell is our motion detecting video/audio security recording monitor. We are set up for a TOTAL of ONLY 8 guests (over 2 years of age). Holiday Inn Express is 3 blocks away to accommodate unplanned for extras. There is a disincentive fee/penalty of $100/extra guest(s)/day. Please respect our space and our friends and neighbors nearby. And we have a city business permit & pay into the city 11% occupancy tax rate each quarter.
Guest access by Schlage electronic door lock.Code will be provided timely to your arrival.
Please enjoy the privacy of our entire house, LESS locked owner cabinets drawers & closets. Garage use OK with fob remote on site, but it will be inventoried. Dog bowls, licking stick and dog house in back yard, plus a cushion in garage and in house ($25/day pet fee to be billed after departure.
Other things to note
Local service professionals phone number on the posey board in kitchen. Fire extinguishers in kitchen pantry and upstairs linen closet, where you will find an emergency chain ladder for window escape, & an Ironing board with iron. In the kitchen pantry we have a first aid kit and emergency lighting, a vacuum & a hand vac. If you pay for your dog’s company, there are toys, an igloo doghouse, cushions in & out, feed bowls, plus an auto watering system @ rear patio- turn rear faucet only 1/8 turn & aim the diverter to auto fill attached bowl BUT PLEASE Turn all off at departure. Thx

We sold both firms 2017. My wife is a retired laboratory tech. Our kids and grand kids are nearby, so we visit our home here monthly

Located an easy near flat walk to downtown. Nearby is the sports bar, Bottom of the Fifth and it feels like Cheers with pool tables, multiple TVs , local sports pageant theme and great bar food. Bart, train & ferry nearby. LYFT /Uber available. Accessible to 4 airports: Oakland Int Airport, San Francisco Int Airport, Sacramento Int Airport, & San Jose Int Airport. Very convenient location to the SF Bay Area's best day trips. Approximate drive times: 45 min to downtown San Francisco via Bay Bridge or 55 minute Ferry ride to The Embarcadero.
What makes this property unique
There is an onsite binder manual with policies AND local attractions. The front doorbell is a motion detecting audio/video monitor. The 2 rear patio lights are motion and solar detecting if the wall switch at dining room table and in the 1/2 bath are turned on.
We have Alexa to ask all sort of questions and to play requested music. Activate by addressing first by saying “ALEXA” and THEN a command or question. “Alexa, play Van Morrison....Alexa what is the weather today?” Fun toy/tool.
There is a small safe with code inside and first aide kit in pantry closet. Also a fire extinguisher & numerous emergency battery lamps, 2 light sticks & some flashlights. Please do not allow kids to play with them. In the upstairs closet there is a second fire extinguisher & a chain ladder with window hooks for emergency upstairs exit, along with iron & ironing board, and an emergency light.
TV- use the INFINITY remote POWER button at top right to turn on/off the TV, the Satellite and the sound bar all at once. There is no on-off switch on the TV. The Infinity will adjust the volume & give you input choices for TV channels, the ROKU or DVD. See “TV INPUT” on top left side of the remote. The DIRECTV streaming choices are via HDMI 2. To watch a DVD, choose DBP-S3700, but once on, it displays as HDMI 3? The sound bar can be adjusted for the TYPE of sound desired, and /or to stream music from your blue tooth device.
