Our custom-built waterfront home nestled on the picturesque shores of Georgian Bay in Meaford, offering a luxurious retreat for families and groups seeking an unforgettable waterfront experience. Located in the heart of the rolling hills and apple orchards of Meaford, this home is a gateway to a variety of year-round activities and scenic wonders. The Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain ski hills, and the relaxing Scandinave Spa are all just a short 25-minute drive away.
The Space:
This spacious 4,000+ sqft cottage is a haven for relaxation and recreation. With beautiful vistas and easy access to a wide range of activities, it's the perfect getaway for all seasons. Here, you're just a short walk away from charming restaurants, boutique shops, private clubs, the Marina, and scenic parks.
Embrace the changing seasons with ease. In the winter, grab your snowshoes and cross-country skis for an adventure on the nearby Georgian Trail leading to Collingwood. This high-end waterfront home boasts numerous amenities and breathtaking views from the outside and inside.
The cottage features a lovely kitchen with granite countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy your morning coffee on the wrap-around deck with panoramic water views. The dining area provides the perfect setting for meals with a view. You’ll find cookware, bakeware, cutlery, utensils, and BBQ tools to use during your stay. All you need to bring is your food, spices, and coffee!
Living Spaces:
The main floor is home to the meticulously decorated great room, ideal for catching up after a day of adventure or relaxing by the fire as you unwind. It opens up to the wrap-around deck, offering water views or entertainment on the TV. Downstairs, the media room awaits with a sizable L-shaped couch, a large TV, and surround sound for your enjoyment.
Bedrooms:
On the main floor, you'll find a spacious, beautifully decorated bedroom with an in-suite TV, just steps away from a 4-piece bathroom. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms and two four-piece bathrooms, both with direct water views to wake up to. The primary bedroom boasts a balcony with a small patio, a 4-piece ensuite with a jetted soaker tub, and a gas fireplace.
Outdoor Entertaining:
Outdoors, you can soak in the hot tub, take a refreshing dip in the lake, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy the large wrap-around deck with an outdoor seating area and BBQ - a perfect setup for entertaining your group.
Local Activities:
Explore the four-season activities Meaford has to offer, with a gorgeous harbour and a nearby boat launch. Sailing lessons are available for kids, just a 5-minute drive or an easy walk from the cottage. In the fall, indulge in hiking and biking adventures, or take a stroll on the Trout Hollow Trail minutes from the Cottage, offering scenic river views. Along the way, discover beautiful vistas, wineries, and cideries. For dining and leisure, you're only minutes away from restaurants, coffee shops, and waterfront parks, all within walking distance.
Other things to note:
*Please note that the dock and deck are high above the water, so use them with caution. It's recommended for young children or inexperienced swimmers to always wear a lifejacket and be supervised around the water. Guests should bring their own life jackets and towels.
*Please note when the hot tub is not in use, the cover must remain closed to avoid excessive evaporation/damage to the hot tub.
*We welcome small, well-trained, hypoallergenic dogs in the unit. Please inform us before booking.
*This home is situated in a quiet, residential neighbourhood, making it ideal for families, group retreats, and corporate getaways. We ask that you please keep the volume at a reasonable level, especially after 9 pm, especially if you have music playing outside :)
1) The occupancy of the property is restricted to the names listed. The management company must be notified by message of any changes to the occupancy. The number of people occupying the property shall not exceed what was entered with your original booking. This includes all children and babies unless an exception is agreed upon. The person booking the property must be at least 25 years of age. This is strictly enforced and deference will result in immediate eviction without refund.
2) Parking passes, keys, and or fobs will be issued upon arrival to the property, these must be returned upon checkout. If not returned your damage deposit will be forfeited
3) There are small bins for garbage and recycling in the property. After your stay, please bring all garbage and recycling to the outside receptacles, this includes all alcohol bottles. If garbage or recycling is left on the property your damage deposit will be forfeited.
4) No smoking on the property, your damage deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions.
5) Some properties have wood burning fireplaces, these are not to be used by guests, if used your damage deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions.
6) A cleaning charge will be added to your property rental fee. This is to cover basic cleaning expected from usual and normal use of the property and to include all floors, bathrooms, beds and kitchen. Any exceptional cleaning that would be considered beyond normal and conscientious use of the property will be deducted from your damage deposit at an hourly rate. At the end of your stay please put any used hand towels or dish towels in the tub, and make sure that all dishes are clean and put away. Please do not leave dishes in the dishwasher, clean or dirty.
7) The management company is not liable, nor will provide a refund, for any stoppage of electrical services caused by extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
8) If property damage occurs, the management company reserves the right to use the damage deposit at its sole discretion
By proceeding with this booking , I/We agree with the management company that I/we will use the property and its facilities in accordance with the above terms and conditions and/or posted house rules, and that I/we do so at our own risk of injury.
