About this property

Great for BSU Parents, Micron Employees, Two Families, Multi-Generational Groups

Welcome to Boise! Our home is perfect for BSU parents, Micron employees, local grandparents, families, and multi-generational groups! If you love the outdoors, you're just a 1/2 mile from the river. This is our second home and we are thrilled to be able to share it with you. Our configuration is a little different so please pay attention to the descriptions below:

Main Floor - A beautiful and comfortable great room with a sofa, loveseat, 55” television, well-equipped kitchen with a large island, dining for six, and arguably one of the BEST VIEWS in SE BOISE. Enjoy views of Shaw Mountain/Lucky Peak and the surrounding foothills from the great room and outdoor covered deck. It’s a great place to watch the sunrise as you enjoy your morning coffee. If you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of deer, coyotes, or even a bobcat frolicking in the field behind us. There is also a half bath and combination bedroom/office/playroom on this floor. THE PRIMARY MASTER BEDROOM REMAINS LOCKED and is unavailable to guests.

Second Story - Walk upstairs to another living area in the spacious loft located between two good size bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a QUEEN bed and view of the mountains from Table Rock to Lucky Peak and city lights below. Bedroom 2 has a QUEEN bed and is probably the quietest room in the house. The second floor bathroom has two sinks and a separate shower/tub combo and toilet room, so that the space is easily shared.

Walk Out Basement - The basement includes a large, light and bright bonus room complete with a large sectional, 65” television, and ping pong table. A large bedroom with a KING size bed and an adjoining full bath completes the space. Walk out on the patio to enjoy the same views you have from the upstairs deck.

Basically, our unique floor plan allows for both privacy (with bedrooms on all three floors) and togetherness (meet on the middle floor to visit, dine, and enjoy our fabulous views or gather in the basement for a game of ping pong).

Ready to explore? We are just a quarter mile from Barber Park where you can fish, float a tube down the river, play on the playground, or just enjoy the scenery. A bike trail literally steps from our backyard takes you down to Boise’s Greenbelt bike trail, which runs 26 miles along the Boise river. For more water fun, head out to Lucky Peak Reservoir, just five miles down the road. We are close to downtown, BSU, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Simplot Sports Park, and Harris Ranch. Got kids? A small neighborhood park is only 100 yards down our street. Walk a little over a half mile and you will reach the brand new Bowler Park with a splash pad, play structure, and outdoor gym equipment. Great restaurants are available in Harris Ranch just a mile away and Bown Crossing, two miles away. We have three grocery stores within a five minute drive, including Fred Meyer, which is like a Kohls, Target, and grocery store all in one. Two freeway entrances within five miles take you to the I84. The airport is less than a 10 minute trip.

So…what’s not to love?
NO PETS ALLOWED

Feels Like Home
I travel to Boise monthly, and staying at this location is always a pleasure. It has ample space for me and my 2 kids, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware for all daily meals, and the furniture is comfortable & enables us to stretch out without squabbling. It’s located close to shopping, and an easy sprint to the airport. It has great views of the foothills, and running/biking trails are minutes from the front door. The owners are easy to reach, and quickly reply to inquiries. Check-in is reliably simple. I look forward to our next stay!

Multi Family Boise Gem
This is our second stay at this beautiful home! Our kids are graduate students at BSU and we rent this home with friends when we visit our kids! We love the huge super-stocked kitchen and main floor space with a large eating table, deck and great living room. The lower level is awesome for ping-pong games and watching movies in the huge family room area. Having bedrooms on the lower level and on the second floor is great for spacing everyone out. The location is perfect for every activity we want to do and being runners and bikers…we love the trail right outside the back door. 5+ stars for this VRBO!

Beautiful Home
We visited Boise to spend time with our daughter and her boyfriend - grad students at BSU! This 3-bedroom home was perfect for us to relax, cook, run, bike, hike and play games! The owners were very responsive and stocked this house better than any VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Loved the trails adjacent to the house and the ping pong table. We will definitely be back!

Family friendly peaceful getaway
We came to town to visit our kids and grand kids. Even had my Mother fly in from Colorado. Really is a great house for many people. My Mother was able to have the upstairs to herself and have quiet time. While we had our kids and grand kids downstairs playing ping pong, watching TV as the baby crawled around on the carpet. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice to have kuerig. We had a few family dinners and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat. The property manager was prompt to answer when we had questions. House is well stocked with towels and sheets. We definitely will be staying again.

Clean home in a great location
Nicely decorated and furnished. I particularly appreciate a well equipped kitchen as when we are in Boise for the week we love to cook dinner for our son’s family a couple nights. My family enjoys that. There is a ping pong table in the lower level which the grandkids had fun with. Mountain View with access to the river trail as well as Barber Park. Can definitely recommend!
