Bug issue/Lack of Customer Service
Had to be moved.Unit was accurate to description, lovely unit! Couldn't easily locate unit due to no unit# marked on the door. Couldn't reach management because we arrived on a Saturday evening and they were closed.
We loved the unit and location but immediately had issues with roaches. The first night, we found a small dead roach on the pillow on yhe bed and as soon as we turned the lights off to go to bed, we could see the roaches in the kitchen area, when we turned the lights on, they ran; ended up having to sleep with all the lights on to keep them from wandering. We had dead roach in the fridge Sunday morning. On Monday called ECVR at opening 9am and made them aware of the issue and was informed they would have the issue addressed. 8 hours later at 450pm before they closed i had to call for an update and be told they haven't heard back from the HOA. This unit is next to their office so we went and spoke to the man representing the HOA and made him aware of our roach issue. He was aware of the palmetto big issue the entire building was having and had the bug man coming Thursday to spray our unit. This is Monday evening and not only did the HOA expect us to just deal with this issue but so did ECVR. This man was defensive in reiterating that they were not roaches but did clearly state "they are equally disgusting." Even went to explain how these are the oldest buildings on Holiday Isle.. anyways.. so another night dealing with roaches. Requested calls from Josh, property
