.We were 4 adults. The house met all over our needs. The house itself was clean and the beds and couches were very comfortable. The driveway took a little getting use to but is quite manageable
The location was awesome, great views of the valley and mountains. A quick 5 minute drive to all the things to do in town. The cabin was perfectly sized for our party of 5. I would definitely reccommend this place.
Great, quiet “cabin” in the mountains!!! We have stayed in several rentals in Maggie Valley pretty well with the rest that we have liked. Close enough to be convenient but far enough for just quiet if you want it.
We rented this place for Christmas break. We had a nice time. It is a steep climb to get to the house but we made it in a Chevy Traverse. It was close to lots of things that we did. It was a nice stay.
Place was very nice. Peaceful to say the least.. We went for a car show in Maggie Valley but was up for a few days early and the cabin was amazing. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable stay. The drive up the mountains to arrive had a great view.
The cabin is just as described in the listing. It is in a very nice community and is not too close to the other homes. It was very clean, had everything we needed, had comfy beds, and was cozy for my family with three children. The owner was quick to respond to my messages. One thing to note, as others have mentioned, the driveway is steep. It might make some guests uneasy, especially with ice or snow. We had no problem driving up in our AWD minivan during our stay (no snow). I would definitely recommend this cabin to others and would be glad to stay again.
We had an amazing time at this cabin. I had rented it as a getaway for me and my mother for Mothers day and my moms birthday she stated it was a most wonderful peaceful place to be and wanted me to thank you for the amazing memories that we were able to create on this trip! Highly recommend it for anyone! Host was amazing an responsive to my needs.
Overall the cabin was nice, property manager responses were quick. Cabin had everything needed in a kitchen; games were provided as well. Beds were comfortable, decor great and cozy
The cabin is located in a woodsy quiet & peaceful setting—-close to amenities. It was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Overall good experience!
From the driveway to the Foosball table lots of fun to be had here. Driveway not for the faint of heart but I enjoyed it. Foosball table kept me and my son busy for days. Lots of room and close to Maggie Valley. Very comfortable.
Simply perfect! From the online booking, to the check in process & leaving- great interaction with host.
A good thing to note- if you’re staying for an extended period of time there is no trash service so you’ll have to take excess to the local dump (its not far in town).
The home has a lot of amenities & something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.
The house was very nice, clean and conveniently located. Communication with host was quick and helpful. As other reviews stated, very steep driveway. Two issues to note for us were there were no screens on front door or patio doors to allow for fresh air, and there isn’t a mountain view from patio areas due to trees being full (summer, July stay).
This cabin is located in a private neighborhood on a steep hillside and while it is just minutes to restaurants and grocery stores, it has a secluded feel to it. Views of the mountains from the open main living area. Very good appliances, comfortable beds, and good overall amenities. Driveway is steep, but manageable in good weather. If wet or icy conditions probably need all wheel drive. Location is near National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and easy drive to Asheville. Loved staying here and would recommend it.
The house is great! No complaints at all about that. Everyone was happy and comfortable, plenty of room to spread out, cozy living area to hang out in, very quiet.
I will echo the comments of others that the drive up is not for everyone. We had no problems, but some might. This is not out in the middle of nowhere, it's literally right behind a very well-kept country club, and the road is nice asphalt the whole way up, but it is steep and curvy no matter which way you go. (go left along the golf course to avoid all the speed bumps)
The home is very nice, quiet get away
accessibility is good if you have all wheel or 4-wheel drive
I am disappointed that when I specifically ask if motorcycles were acceptable, I was not informed that truck with trailer access was not accessible. I was not even made aware that at least all-wheel drive was recommended until the day of check in when I was given the access code, so it was too late to cancel or make other arrangements to keep my truck and trailer elsewhere and just ride motorcycles into unit. I sent an email with my concerns but never received a response. This would be a very nice place to stay with small vehicle access.
