Remodeled island inspired decor tropical retreat

Kahana Manor 608 is a beautifully remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that can accommodate up to 6 guests, and is located on the 6th floor, accessible by an elevator. Step inside to the open-concept living area where your are welcomed by natural light coming into the room. The condo is equipped with a portable air conditioner in each bedroom. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and modern finishes. Offering you all the staples you need to make meals at home. Dine inside or outside on your private lanai.

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and large mirrored closet doors and an ensuite bathroom has a shower and bathtub combo. The guest bedroom features a queen-size bed and there is a convenient guest bathroom nearby, also with a shower and bathtub combo. For additional guests, a queen-size sofa bed is available in the main living area. This unit comes equipped with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

*** Kahana Manor has an elevator renovation project, estimated to be completed by April 2025. There is an elevator at the north and south entrances of the building. One elevator will be worked on at a time during the building elevator renovation. ***

Kahana Manor is a condominium complex that features shops, a pub, and restaurants on the first level. A wonderful vibrant neighborhood area that is central to many nearby beaches such as Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay, and many more. The Kahana Beach is across the street and has a soft, sandy entry to the ocean.

My Perfect Stays professionally manages this condo. Our team of professionals is located in Maui to provide our guests exceptional service. In addition, we have after-hours emergency dispatchers to assist when needed.

Don’t be Fooled & Not Comforty

VRBO Review This place is very uncomfortable and not worth it. It’s not as clean as it looks on the picture. Their response to our questions when we’re here was slow and wasn’t truthful. It has no AC and the screens were broken so we could not open the windows or sliding doors. There were hornets nesting on the balcony. It also had a pan that had NO HANDLE. The unit also does not have a microwave. This place charges $350/nite. The least you can have is a small microwave and a working pan. The bathtub drain was slow and the people that live in the other units are ghetto. Let’s not even mention how loud the traffic is. Don’t fall for the scam like we did.

The only best thing about this place is the location. We were there in February and we can see whales breaching especially with binoculars from the balcony. The condo is not so well maintained; the microwave is rusty, the dryer is heating but not spinning, the balcony screen doors are broken and the shower is a problem too. There’s no enough dining chairs for 4 people to dine inside and/or at the balcony. We are not fuzzy people but we all have the feeling that the condo is unpleasant to stay.

A little disappointed

1st problem is there is no A/C. Luckily there were 2 big fans or we would have switched to somewhere else. 2nd Showers don't work properly. They switch back and forth between scalding hot and very cold, barely giving you a decent temp in between. 3rd when we got there the fridge was not cold enough, so whoever turns the fridge on should do it a day earlier. I think that's what the issue was. And the mini fridge in the dining area didn't work from what we could tell. Besides all that it was a decent place.

We enjoyed our stay in Kahana Manor 608. Everything went well as planned. We used the snorkeling sets left by other people previously. We have also left a pair of rubber flippers in the suite for other people to use in the future.

Not what we were expecting!

Our trip to Maui started off on the wrong foot due to the location of our condo. Because of how the back patio faces west - towards the beautiful ocean (that was nice), the sun beats down into the windows for the latter part of each day making it very warm inside. We knew the unit did not have A/C but didn't expect it to be so HOT! We hoped the coolness of the evenings and the ocean breeze would cool the place down and to some extent it did but the street and highway noise was so loud, it was hard to sleep with the windows open. We asked for a couple extra vans and they were delivered promptly and made a bit of a difference. I also know there was a disclaimer about the potential for bugs in the condo, what we were not expecting were two giant cockroaches crawling around the bed and our luggage in the secondary bedroom - another default of having the windows open. Unfortunately, we could not make this place comfortable for us and decided to move to another condo mid-trip.

My experience

The condo looked a little skeptical when we pulled up but inside is super cute. The place was clean for the most part my only complaint is that there were random little cockroaches roaming around and there was no microwave available for use. Otherwise it was in an awesome location along a strip of beaches.

Did the job

Ok condo in a great location. Location was the best part for us, in between Kapalua and Kaanapali. Condo was clean upon arrival, check in/out was easy as can be. Some issues with condo, most of the window cranks were broke and we could not open or the kitchen window was stuck open. With no a.c. It’s hard to get air through. The showers were the biggest problem, most days we didn’t have hot water, on others you would have to take a freezing cold shower and then in the middle of it, it would scold you for a minute. Your better off showering at the beach. Besides that, the condo worked well for our family of 5. Couch sleeper is very lumpy but my daughter didn’t mind, master bed has dips on each side but managed. Again, ok little condo and worked as long as you don’t mind cold to scolding showers. We still enjoyed our stay at Kahana Monor 608. Would not stay again though.

Roomy two bed two bath condo.

This unit was very large and nicely decorated. It is on the 6th floor which gives you a limited but nice ocean view. Being it was in February it was nice and cool but it would be hot in the summer without air conditioning. The showers had difficulty maintaining the temperature, going from cold to hot. The unit is in a good location, close to everything on the Kaanapali side. I would stay here again if they fix the water temperature and add air conditioning.

Good Family Time

Surely overall we had great family time inside property. More Pros and some Cons as below. Pros: - Spacious 3 Rooms (2 Bedrooms and Living room with sofa cum bed). - Elevator and Easy Parking - Beach chairs given inside master bed - Inhouse Full Kichen, Laundry, Dryer, 2 TV, Balcony - Partial ocean view is great - Closeby 24 hrs safeway (15-20 min drive) - Extra towels, tissue papers - Good bed set for sofa-cum-bed. It was brand new sofa-cum-bed. - All Beds were of good quality - As separate 2 bedrooms with doors, had good privacy like home. Most hotels are not good. - Super easy checkin and checkout with lock - Property manager was in touch via text few times which was good. Cons: - Praying mantis though not dangerous, kids got scared :) so could not use balcony. Fear was more insects/bites. - Smell was not good somehow near door and may be something was sprayed. Was not issue inside rooms. - One Chair leg was broken. Fortunately no was injured.

Amazing time on Maui

The condo was perfect for our family of 5 (3 adult children). It was stocked with everything we needed for a great vacation- beach chairs, cooker, snorkels, plenty of towels. Location was very convenient for everything we wanted to do. Despite the water issues which we were kept apprised of by management, we had a fabulous time. I only wish there was a guest book we could have left a personal message in. We would definitely return.

Not clean

Upon arrival we found three large cockroaches along with three small ones on the counter and sink in the kitchen. The sheets had a large stain on them and the toilet had a poo smear on it. Everything in the kitchen felt sticky and dirty. . It was very disappointing.
