The large family room area was perfect for a large group! We spent hours together spread between the huge couch and very large family dining table for meals and games. The view of the river from there was perfect for watching large ships pass. Doug was both amenable and kind.
What a fabulous two weeks at the islands with family! The house was clean and accommodating and the view right off the main channel was as spectacular as always! As a family of water lovers, swimming and floating off the dock is always a yearly favorite! Doug is the best host! Always there if you need anything and truly makes our stay the best it can be! We can’t wait to go back again for our 4th year in 2025!
We had an amazing stay! House was very clean and big enough for our party of six to really spread out. Doug, the property manager was super helpful with recommendations. Great fishing right off the dock. We brought our kayaks and it’s a terrific area to kayak.
This was our second year staying at this property. My family absolutely loves it! Doug is a fantastic property manager and goes out of his way to ensure a great stay.
Looking forward to next year!
I booked this for both of my daughters to share. Included 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 2-7). The location is beautiful and has access to a nice secluded bay. House was bigger than expected and a great layout for families. House caretaker lived close by and was super responsive and available for questions. Will definitely stay again.
We had an outstanding week. The property is beautiful and clean. Doug, the property manager, is right there to answer any questions or provide any assistance. The house is large and well stocked. The dock is protected by another island in front which breaks the wake of other boats. Looking forward to staying next year. Thanks for a great vacation.
Beautiful place. Great views of the Emerald colored waters of the St. Lawrence river , the 1000 islands bridge , and the ships are just feet away. Overall totally wonderful family week. The sky was so clear at night we saw a billion stars and shooting starts many of them. Great sheltered dock from channel very private but best of all you can swim off the dock, nothing but clean water and flat rocks. My kids and Grandchildren enjoyed this trip very much, they loved swimming off the beautiful dock. Short boat ride to Abay and Clayton. Also short 10 min ride to Wellesley Island Park which I highly recommend for sunsets and fishing, boating , hiking. It is a beautiful and scenic place. Recommend to everyone. GO TO THE 1000 ISLANDS you will love it and want to go back guaranteed !!
Great house at an amazing location! The house was all we hoped it would be and more. Very clean, well supplied and perfectly positioned to watch freighters traveling up and down the channel. Doug was a fantastic host and made sure we had anything we needed. Can’t wait to go back!
We had a great time! I would recommend this property. Plenty of room and the location was beautiful.

About the host

Dad bought this place about 15 years ago. My brothers and I own it now and I manage it for them. This 29 inch pike was caught the day before bass season opened in 2021 and won the fish pool that day.
Why they chose this property
Fabulous location near Red Buoy 208 on the St. Lawrence Seaway.
What makes this property unique
Unique combination of view and access to the St. Lawrence River. This is one of the few places along the river where you can drive right up to the water. People stop by to take pictures of the bridge regularly. People will track the movement of ships in the channel and time their photo-ops to photograph them under the bridge.
