Second visit was as good as the first. Although we were not able to spend a lot of time in the home, we were just as impressed as the first. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.
This is the second time we have stayed here in the past year. It is convenient to the activities that we go to that area for. We actually weren't there except basically to sleep. All of our meals were out at restaurants, so we did not experience much of what it would be like to spend the day there. But it is clean, and a very cute little house.
Our recent stay was perfect! This bungalow was cozy, peaceful, clean and had all that we needed and more. We were driving from PA into the direction of hurricane Helene and weren't sure what we were going to encounter. I reached out to our hosts and they were very prompt in repsonding and even took the time to check on the property to ease our minds that all would be well upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend this place and any other properties owned by the hosts. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is the perfect getaway. You have truly thought of everything we may need and it is there for use if we needed it. The neighborhood is quiet and the store is right down the road if you need anything. This home has the perfect amount of privacy as we were in town for a race and that’s exactly what we needed . Thank you so much

This little blue bungalow was perfect. It was very nicely furnished and had a very comfortable bed. It is in a very quite area, but close to everything. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again.
We absolutely loved this property. It was conveniently located, comfortable, adorable, and well-appointed. The owners thought of everything, and they were helpful and communicative. We would definitely stay there again.
The hosts were so kind and accommodating when we needed to come to the area to manage my mother's estate. The adorable bungalow was comfortable and well stocked and we were so grateful to them for going the extra mile to get the fold out bed ready for our daughter when they new we were going to have a very late night check in. We extend our thanks for their compassion and flexibility to accommodate us so last minute. We will gladly return to their home when duty calls again.
This property was in an excellent location near many wineries we wanted to visit. Only a couple of minutes from town, but in a beautiful rural setting.
Very clean and had what you needed for your stay. Convenient to I-77 and several restaurants, yet off the highway in a subdivision. Would stay there again in the future.
We loved this little bungalow! We booked somewhat last minute for a place near Elkin to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our 9 and 5 year old in tow and our dog as well. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating to our family. The place was well appointed with enough room for us to crash and have a little space to ourselves as well - lots of extras were included like shampoo/conditioner, hand/dish soap, towels, even toothbrushes should we need them. Our girls slept on the pull-out couch and after moving the coffee table (which was on wheels - brilliant!) there was enough room in the living area to put a full sized air mattress for our dog/me or my husband should we want to sleep out with the kids. The yard was adorable and we were happy to find a fire pit out back when we got there - a nice surprise! The house is close to Elkin so we went downtown our first night - a cute little downtown with live music and great restaurants. Angry Troll was fun and the downstairs area let our dog come inside while we ate. We loved the farm road and that we were off the beaten path but still close to the places we wanted to visit. If I could make any suggestion for improvement, I'd try and squeeze a comfy king bed in the bedroom. There is no microwave but a nice toaster oven. But this home had everything to make our quick stay in Yadkin Valley peaceful and enjoyable! We'd stay here again!
We drove into the property thinking we were lost. In the country and refreshing, to say the least. Neat and tidy were our first impressions. Got inside and wow, what a visibly appealing layout. Located all the essentials and got settled in. After a good night's rest a cup of coffee was in order. The K cup selection was outstanding! A day of sightseeing and eating were in order. At the end of the day, my dog was introduced to his first goat. He wigged out but oh, how refreshing to be in the country. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your bungalow!
Love the location love the style of the house. Everything was perfect everything that you would need was there the bed it was a bit uncomfortable if one person moved the other person moved and woke you up. The drain in the sink was very slow draining but otherwise it was a wonderful little house to stay, just didn’t get a really good nights sleep to drive all day the next day
This place was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. It was clean, well equipped, great location and adorable! Close to wineries, hikes, restaurants, etc. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend to anyone! Hope to come back soon :)
