Cute home with orginal hardwood floors, new kitchen and bath. Close to Fort Wayne and major highways. Quiet nighborhood with a park a block away. Public pool, parks, golf course and other attractions in town for your use while you stay. Family friendly restaurant like Dave's who sells burgers, is right down the street. Shorty's steak house is a great place for a date night or time with clients.

Lovely little house!

This house was perfect for our group of friends in town for a nearby wedding. The entire property was pristine and well-stocked. The host was kind and very responsive. Highly recommend this home! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice little gem in Garrett

We (family of 4) stayed here for 2 weeks while waiting to move into our new house. It’s such a cute little house with everything you could need. My kids liked they each had their own room with their own tvs. We loved walking our dog to the nearby disc golf/dog park. Cute town, with some good restaurants as well! Sarah was a great host. I had a few issues initially with the house and she went above and beyond to fix them for me which was appreciated. Her communication time is lighting fast as well, like seconds later I would hear back from her. The house also stayed nice and cool in the Indiana heat! I would stay here again.

Wonderful time.

So enjoyed staying at Sarah's property. Very clean, well maintained and stocked with all the essentials. Thank you Sarah so much for providing this listing in the area I needed. Sarah is a wonderful hostess and responds very quickly with answers to your questions. The neighborhood is lovely and well located close to numerous stores, restaurants, etc. I will most assuredly return to this home.

Such a great place

Met my daughter and grandkids here as it as a half way point. Loved the house! Very well equipped. Everything provided. Only thing I would suggest is finishing the fence so dogs can run free in back yard since it is pet friendly.

Excellent!

Very clean, well taken care of property. Beds were very comfortable. We did not have a purpose in Garrett/Auburn but the town is approximately halfway between my best friend and myself. Originally it was supposed to be a girls weekend meet up for the two of us, but due to kids being sick and work schedules changing for a husband in the end it was myself + my best friend + the 7 kids we have between us. 😱 All of that to say that Sarah was unbelievably accommodating and gracious to the many changes I made to my original booking. The house comfortably accommodated all of us. And we had a great time. I would absolutely stay there again. We made good use of the playground 2 blocks away and ate a several of the kid friendly restaurants in Auburn. We even had Pizza Hut delivered one night with no problem. Great place to stay. Thanks for being an exceptional hostess!

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed this clean home. It was perfectly decorated and furnished for a vacation rental. It was in the perfect location and Garrett is such a cute small town.

Special Christmas

This is a cute, clean property with everything included. The property manager was really responsive and did her best to create a lovely Christmas vacation, including the Christmas tree and a bottle of local wine! We had our family over for Christmas day and it was very happy. Checking in and out was easy. Neighborhood was quiet and nextdoor neighbor was super sweet. We loved our stay and will book again. Thank you Sarah for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Garrett stay

Really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's house. I can say it was about the cleanest house we have ever rented from VRBO. Place was immaculate and all of the little extras Sarah had out for the guests was really top of the line and more than we expected. Was lucky enough to get to meet Sarah and she was really nice and fun to talk with. Timing didn't work out for us to use the fire pit but we could tell they did a great job with it and future guests will enjoy. Very interesting little house and great rental. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to Sarah and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Why they chose this property

Newly remolded with new furniture, appliances and custom cabinets. Friendly neighbors that love the nice, amazing people that choose to stay here. Donna is friendly-not intrusive:) She is excited each week to share with me whom she chatted with, who has shared their left over eggs so they didn't have to throw them away-so sweet! This has made my experience as a host awesome! I love it. Thank you in advance for choosing me and this community. We all appreciate it:)

What makes this property unique

Close to Fort Wayne, Auburn and Kendallville! A short drive to all the major highways including State Road 69 that takes you south to Indianapolis or north to the toll road and Michigan:) Small community that has a pool, golf course, restaurants, nice grocery store and an outdoor movie theater. I would suggest taking a speaker if you go to the movie theater:) Ice cream and hot dogs at the Blue Moon before makes the whole night special. This is a great small town experience:) Staying next to people who care make all the difference. Let me do the cleaning for you! When you leave only start the dishwasher, leave the rest to me, you stay at my home so let me take care of the rest! Do not start the laundry or mess with the beds, I will take care of it:)
