Included with your bungalow is private access to two acres of beautiful gardens, and our hydrotherapy area: Outdoor shower, hot tub, steam sauna, and cold plunge pool. Indoors you'll enjoy a private library, kitchenette, and bathroom. The Beach room has a big-screen TV, recliners, painting supplies, a faux fireplace, and more. Peace. Comfort. Privacy, and healing hydrotherapy. All are conveniently located for your Mt St. Helens adventure.. We are not suitable for children.

My only regret is that we were just passing through and didn’t have more time to enjoy the property. Excellent amenities, quiet, beautiful, very close to St. Helens, wonderful decorations and hosts. Even the coffee was good. Next time we’re in the area, we will be definitely looking at an extended stay.

Amazing garden

So, just some thoughts on previous comments: 1) I could not hear the rooster at all inside. The only time I heard it was 4 pm one of the days I stayed. 2) the Internet was really easy to connect to and 3) backing up was like 50 ft, if you can't do that you perhaps driving lessons. On to my review. The garden is absolutely amazing. I mean, you have to see it to understand. There are so many features, it's incredible. Also the hot tub was very nice and secluded. And there were so many shady spots to sit. My friend and I just read for hours one of the days out our stay. The drive in, too, has incredible views of Mt St Helens. Downtown had all these lovely little shops, I recommend the Parwell Farms and Quilting shop, and the vault bookstore. It was a wonderful weekend and I would definitely stay there again. You can tell the owners have put an incredible amount of though and heart into their little getaway.

Nice, But!

The property was decent But not great. We had to turn on the heat when we arrived because the house was freezing. This should have been done by the managers before we arrived. Also, we were looking forward to the hot tub, But it wasn’t working that day. We liked the garden and the house in general was nice. Just be aware that this house has restrictions. They asked us to not leave lights on because they are on solar, But the heat in the living room was electric so we were confused about that. It’s in a nice quiet area, But they have a rooster. It is really meant for two people and no children. The driveway is a dead end so you have to back out a bit to get turned around. Oh, and the WiFi info in the book didn’t give you the name of WiFi, just the password. Also, bring your own food and beverages. Just know, the fridge is small and there is no microwave. I really don’t like giving bad reviews, but how can owners know what they need to improve on?

Relaxing Water Spa

We drove up from Portland and although the drive wasn't long it really felt like we were out in the country. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The hosts were informative, friendly and unobtrusive. I think staying 2 nights would have been even better than our 1.

This wonderful cottage is a wonderful place to enjoy the wonders of nature on the beautiful garden grounds, and the hydrotherapy just takes it to the next level. Enjoyed every moment.

The landscaped grounds with pathways was part of the therapy experience. I tried the outdoor shower, hot tub, sauna, cold bath, breathing, and meditative cycle and loved it. The cold bath is a shocker but is worth the experience. I would like to have stayed another day. You should know that there are two beds and both are doubles. A sanctuary of peace

A lovely rental in an area that is hard to find accomodations in. The hydrotherapy set up was amazing and we loved wandering in the gardens. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was tiny, which was hard for us as people who often cook on these vacations, but we made do. We absolutely would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay that isn't forever away from the Mt. St. Helen's area. Thank you for sharing your space and your peace with us!

Magical getaway, what an oasis.

This listing doesn’t convey just how incredible this place is. Every square inch of the property and every room in the house was placed so intentionally and mindfully! Each room in the house takes you to a different place. It’s like 5 places in one. The hosts David and Ellie are impeccable and so gracious to create and open this place for us folks to enjoy and relax. This place has everything you need for a true retreat and stillness. Girls weekend getaway

Peaceful getaway

This property was perfect for our multi day Mt St Helens visit. About 20 mins into Castle Rock for dinner etc and about 50 mins to Coldwater Lake and the Johnston Observatory. The sauna was perfect after a day of hiking! I didn't notice in the listing that the bed is a double, we usually like something bigger, but it was workable. Kitchenette is compact but works for a couple days and had what you need. Very nice owners and overall great experience.

A magical place!

My husband and I were blown away by the love and care that has been poured into this gem of a place! The pictures do not capture how these gardens transport you (sitting in the hot tub and looking around, I felt like I was in Costa Rica)! My husband also loved his outdoor shower! (They have an indoor shower too for those wondering.) The hosts are lovely as well! This is a place you can escape the city to just breathe. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A True Eden

Magical! Still Meadows is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The themes of each room are decorated with such thought and detail that they offer different worlds for guests to experience. Walking through the peaceful garden was a treat as took in the buzzing sounds of nature while admiring the verdure that was so beautifully designed. And the hydrotherapy area will without a doubt leave you feeling rejuvenated. Hosts were wonderful communicators and were very understanding when travel delays threw off our arrival time. We were fortunate enough to meet them in person, and are so appreciate that they have created and shared this special place. It's a true eden and we cannot wait to visit again!

What a wonderful place! The rooms were so beautifully and interestingly decorated, and the gardens and hydrotherapy features were absolutely glorious! I loved this place so much! It was so nice to be greeted and showed around upon arrival. They were very welcoming and I felt very prepared for my stay. The property is beautiful! This place is in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by beautiful gardens (I can see why it’s in the name). There’s a private outdoor shower, hot tub, and sauna. The location was close to Castle Rock which has some restaurants and shops to check out. It’s also close to Mt St Helens which is why we chose this property to stay. But now that I know how wonderful it is I’m going to try to come back and stay again soon!
