Vacation Rental 2023
House is decored like museum with lot of antique look like pieces and lot of furniture. Bed rooms are spead between 2nd floor and basement, most of the bedroom have individual air conditioner except bedrooms in basement. Kitchen is big enough with lot of utensils to cook your own food. Good enough light in the kitchen. Dining table is only for 8 people though total capacity of the house to stay is 23. Overall place is fine for the money you pay and if you are not looking for modern new look facilities.

We had a group come from all over the Northeast which made Scranton the ideal location to meet. The house is spacious and well decorated. The kitchen is very nice and provides a central place to gather. The host was helpful and provided us with everything we needed remotely.

Amazing Experience
Photos don’t do this house justice! I wish we would’ve had more time to actually spend in the house, we just needed a place to stay, and this was convenient. I would absolutely go back and just hang out in the house - every detail is so unique and interesting. Our group had a great time!

Almost every square inch of the place has been customized. It will be the most memorable place we have all stayed, our friends will be talking about this for years to come.

Huge quirky house
Had a great time at our stay. Property manager was communicative and responsive. The place is huge. We each had our own rooms and plenty of space. The house is very quirky and at first I was worried that the kids would destroy the place but a lot of it is just decorative and we found the house fine for kids. Close to skiing.

As the proprietor of the Scranton Mansion Guest House, Executive Director of the Rossetti Foundation for the Arts and Culture, and as the host at the Gallery on Vine, I am thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant space located within the historic Rossetti Estate in Scranton. Originally from Boston Massachusetts, I have always had a deep appreciation for the arts and the role they play in enriching our lives and communities. My passion for hosting stems from my belief that art has the power to connect people, spark conversations, and inspire creativity.

I enjoy bringing people together to share in the experience of art, whether it’s through engaging exhibitions, interactive workshops, or community events. Each gathering provides an opportunity to celebrate the unique talents of local artists while fostering a sense of belonging among attendees. I believe that when we come together to appreciate art, we not only support the artists but also strengthen the bonds within our community.

Being a part of the community is incredibly important to me. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and learning about their perspectives on art and culture. Hosting allows me to create an inviting and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to explore their creativity and connect with others. My goal is to ensure that every guest leaves feeling inspired and enriched by their experience at the Gallery on Vine.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you, as we celebrate the beauty of art and the incredible community we have here in Scranton. There is so much to see.

Why they chose this property

We chose the location in this neighborhood because of its rich cultural heritage, vibrant artistic community, and strong sense of community spirit. Nestled within the historic Rossetti Estate, the gallery benefits from the area’s artistic legacy and the welcoming atmosphere that permeates the community.

The neighborhood boasts a diverse mix of residents, local businesses, cultural institutions, and universities, creating a dynamic environment where creativity thrives. I particularly enjoy the sense of camaraderie among local artists, merchants, and residents who actively support one another. The nearby cafés and shops provide perfect spots for casual meetings and conversations, fostering connections that extend beyond the gallery walls.

The community is also home to numerous cultural events, festivals, and art fairs, making it a hub for creativity and collaboration. This lively scene not only attracts art enthusiasts but also encourages individuals of all ages to engage with the arts, enhancing the overall vibrancy of the area.

What I love most about this neighborhood is its dedication to nurturing talent and fostering inclusivity. It’s a place where creativity is celebrated, and where everyone is encouraged to express themselves. Being part of such a supportive and inspiring community fuels my passion for hosting events and creating meaningful experiences for our visitors. We are proud to contribute to this vibrant neighborhood and to be a part of its ongoing artistic narrative.
