Great time!

We had 8 people staying and the place was very clean. The return vent for the AC is in the living room and we noticed it was loud and difficult to hear the TV unless you turned the volume up loud, so we thought maybe the filter needed changing. We contacted Vacasa and they responded immediately and changed the filter, which did make the noise a little better. The AC itself worked great though. Other than that we had a great time, cabin is close to everything and beds were comfy. We did not use the hot tub or the game room, so I cannot speak to those amenities. The kids did love the pool though and it’s not too far away, just down the hill. We will definitely stay again!

Great Stay

This place had plenty of room for our little family of 4 (2 toddlers). There were a few dusty spots here and there, and a couple black hairs in the tub/towels when we got there, but everything else seemed very clean! The air hockey table didn’t work and the arcade game worked, but sometimes the joystick wouldn’t let us switch between games. Pool table and connect 4 game were both great! The bunk bed was very wobbly, I would not recommend anyone sleeping on top bunk because of that. The King size bed was a harder mattress, which I don’t like, but maybe some people prefer a harder mattress. So, yes there’s room for improvements, but overall we loved our stay at the Lazy Bear!

Amazing

Our family and our friends' family stayed here together and we loved our stay!!!! It was very clean and had everything we needed! The rooms were plenty big and the kids loved the hot tub! We will definitely look into staying here again for sure!

Perfect size and location!

Awesome!

Everything was better than expected. The house was a perfect size for us and our two children. It was a great place to relax after long days out adventuring. The house was very clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect! We would stay here again.

Home away from home

We loved how clean the house was. Very convenient to stores on the parkway. Very quiet area. The pool table and game tables were great. There were two tvs upstairs and two tvs downstairs and a corn hole game on the downstairs porch. The hot tub was an added bonus at the end of the day. We are already planning our next visit and hope we are able to book this place again. Thank you for making our vacation memorable.

I Recommend this place

The caving is spacious and it's suitable for a family with kids. Their quick response when it comes to a concern, is on point and timely manner. I will book this caving again.

Loved this cute little cabin!

Cons: parking. when we arrived during a huge storm, the neighbors were parked in our spaces. due to construction next door, several times during our stay, construction vehicles or township vehicles were in our way. air hockey table could use better pucks or air-pucks wouldn't stay on the table. pool table isnt totally level. construction next door is annoying but hopefully finished soon. very minor cons and I had to really think to come up with something. pros: everything! We absolutely loved this cabin. It was clean and well kept. plenty of space to spead out and many games/activities provided. the hot tub was fantastic and we used it everyday. the view is all trees and other cabins but it is beautiful and for the most part very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen is stockrd with just enough utensils/cookware to get by and the appliances all seemed brand new. plenty of bathroom space! wifi and tvs worked well! the bedrooms are on two separated floors which we didn't realize but was not a big deal to us. tubs are very nice but it is quite a step to get into the tub/shower. overall this cabin was perfect for us and we wouldnt definitely stay here again!!

Okay cabin, nice location

It is a nice new cabin. When we arrived at our 4 o’clock check in time house cleaning was still there so I feel like we did not get a full cleaning prior to our stay. Floors were not swept or mopped. There was no broom to try and do it myself. Tables were not wiped down, crumbs and dried milk was still on them. One quilt for sure had white bodily fluid on it. I ended up stripping all of the bedding and washing it myself. Beds were comfortable though and we liked the location.

Lazy Bear Stay

Our stay at the Lazy Bear was a very relaxing one. The beds are great and the space was good. There are activities available at the cabin. It was very clean. Plenty of towels but needed wash cloths and dish cloths. Would stay here again.

Amazing and beautiful warm home ..

My family and me enjoy our first trip to pigeon, so this home was Amazon, it’s so pretty, nice decoration, clean, comfortable and really spacious to enjoy in family and have a great time .. the room downstairs is awesome and the place is quiet .. to be honest , I want to go there .. but rent the same home! ..

Great cabin, not the view

Good location right off the main parkway, and close to Gatlinburg. It was easy to get to all of our excursions. The cabin itself was clean, and well maintained besides a few minor things that I’ll share below, it was wonderful. It had all the cabin basics you expect & what was shown in the pictures. It is a really nice cabin, with great amenities if they worked properly or were in better condition. Also, whoever surface cleans this place does a wonderful job, I wish I could hire them for my home. We enjoyed playing all the extras but air hockey table doesn’t work well. It’s in dire need of new pucks, and paddles. Literally a 5 fix on Amazon for the owners. The corn hole bags were terrible, and not enough to play a game. One was laying on the ground with no corn in it. The pool table was crooked as heck but we still used it. The game machine, and connect 4 was a blast to play. Beds were soft, and linens were on the newer side. Bring your own toilet paper, unless you enjoy 1ply, I wouldn’t supply good stuff, but at the price I expected a little better. Kitchen had all the basics we needed for cooking, which was appreciated. They also have two coffee makers, a regular pot & k-cup one. Coffee on the porch was nice people watching construction workers. The grill was awfully dirty. We cleaned it the best we could before using it but it smoked the entire porch up, and got into the cabin. It was connected to a gas line. Convenient, we loved it. With how none of the batteries in the remotes seemed to work it & we couldn’t find any spare ones we joked how they would’ve been out of propane if not for that line. We cooked almost every meal here, and that was the only thing we ran into as far as cooking goes. The up stairs tub leaked all over the pool table & ruined some of our belongings including my sons Nintendo DS, so I wouldn’t recommend a bath. My biggest issue is the pictures of the view are extremely misleading. I didn’t even see that view near our cabin. That was a huge let down for all of us. Instead of a beautiful Mountain View we got 3 trees & construction. This not what I was expecting, and we would not have stayed here if I knew the owners misled, falsely advertised, etc about the view on this website. The property is more like a cabin subdivision, than a mountain retreat. Our neighbors were loud drunk partying both weekend nights. Being as you’re right on top of each other that was annoying with children, and getting up in the morning. We didn’t want to ruin their fun so with the one remote that worked we just slept with all the TVs on so it drowned it out. Construction workers parked on the road by our cabin making it very difficult to get out of the driveway with our truck. Ultimately for wanting a relaxed cabin in the mountains to unwind in nature we found ourself a little disappointed.

We will be back

We had such a great experience staying at The Lazy Bear. The cabin was beautiful and well kept. I could walk across the floor and my feet not be filth, that's a true feat. We had a lot of fun utilizing the amenities available within the cabin. We did have a minor issue upon arrival where the hockey puck for the air hockey table was missing and the bean bags for corn hole were missing but they were very quick to rectify the situation the very next day. We certainly appreciate the willingness to make accommodations. It was very clean and had everything we could have ever needed. We will certainly be back because it was such a good experience. Thank you!

Convenient & Comfortable Cabin

Clean, comfortable cabin close to everything. We loved the fireplaces in both bedrooms and the fact that each bedroom had their own bathrooms. Downstairs game room was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing fall break

Great house

This house was perfect for our trip to Dollywood with our daughter and grandkids. There was plenty of space and the grandkids loved everything there was to do downstairs. This house was also very close to Dollywood. I would also like to mention how clean it was we were very impressed. The only downside was how close the houses were to each other besides that we loved it.

Springbrook 2022

Wanted to get away with my fiancé and teenagers and create some memories. I booked lazy bear at the very last moment. I just knew it was going to be a disaster. BOY OH BOY was I wrong. The cabin was beautiful. The scenery with snow top knock. It was clean well maintained. We enjoyed several different activities and food places in the area. For a first time cabin stayestayed, my only regret is that I didn't have more time.
