Find yourself enjoying an unforgettable Outer Banks vacation with loved ones in no time when you book this wonderful seven-bedroom home! Perched in the heart of Corolla, you will have easy access to coastal attractions, white sand, and warm water. When you find yourself at home base, everyone will love starting each day with a fresh cup of coffee on the furnished deck until the temperature rises and the sparkling pool becomes the hub for fun in the sun. Plus, the eight-person hot tub will be just the place to finish off each day under the pinks and purples of the sunset.

Inside, the fun won't stop, as this layout this absolutely ideal for larger groups and families. Split into three floors, Shore Thing boasts a full kitchen, an accommodating dining table, and an open living area on the top floor that will be ideal for gathering with everyone for meals or movie nights. Plus, the primary suite also calls this third-level home with an ensuite bath. Head down to the second level and you will find four more bedrooms including another primary suite with an attached bath complete with a jetted tub. Two of these bedrooms also have access to the mid-level wraparound deck! The kiddos and young at heart will love hanging out downstairs because two bunk rooms, a wet bar, a flatscreen TV, and a pool table await for unlimited entertainment and a bit of friendly competition. With so much fun just waiting to be had, what are you waiting for?

Loved the proximity to beach and large house with room for our extended family! There were issues with cleanliness in the home. However the management team did work with us to address these concerns.

Perfect house with a yard!

We have been coming to the OBX for 13 years and every year we stay at a different house. This year we stayed at Shore Thing and we absolutely loved it. The pool had many chairs to support our large group and it also had a big back yard which was perfect for some evening corn hole, kan jam, spike ball, etc. The house had two fridges which came in very handy to keep all our drinks cold. The temperature in the house was spot on and always cool given how hot it was for our week. The home did contain a propane grill which originally was told they didn't have one so that was a nice added bonus. This house is closer to the 4x4 beach which was a plus for us but also not terribly far from food lion either. I would most definitely stay here again. The only complaint we really had was the lack of trash bins for a party as large as ours. They only have two trash bins and no recycling bin. If you're looking for good amount of space inside and out this is the house for you!

Awesome pool with lots of umbrellas, we loved that. We rented golf carts to get all our stuff up to the beach... great idea!! Kitchen was equipped well. Beds were very comfortable.

Horrible customer service, unclean property

Upon arriving to the property, several rooms were not cleaned, piles of dirt on the kitchen floor, pet stains on the carpets, bugs on the window sills, toilets uncleaned, tubs full of water and large pile of dirty linens in the hall. There was a large crack in the countertop that was sharp and dangerous for children. We contacted Vacasa immediately upon arrival, and did not receive any response from the local company until the next day. They offered to come clean, but stated that we needed to vacate the property to do so - very difficult to do when there were families with a total of 6kids under the age of 5. We asked for them to waive the cleaning fee and are still waiting for them to respond. To top it all off, we got an arbitrary charge after we left. When we called to inquire about the charge, they had entered it under the wrong renter. A month later we are still waiting for that to be refunded. I will never be renting from a Vacasa managed company again. Miserable experience.

My kind of location

This home was only a couple blocks from the beach and a mile or 2 from the drive on the beach to see the wild horses. The lighthouse and wildlife center was also within a mile. Seafood market and grocery shopping within 3 miles; Away from the hustle and bustle of the southern towns like Duck and Kitty Hawk but close enough if you want to go to Jockeys Ridge but be prepared to be in traffic. We loved being away from the busyness.

We loved the property. Very clean, beautifully decorated, private pool area and great location The only issue i had was reaching the office to pay final payment because app and email wouldn't process.
