Boasting gorgeous coastal decor and lots of natural light, this recently-remodeled, oceanfront getaway is an absolute treat! On the main level, you'll find an open floorplan with a well-equipped, full kitchen, a large dining table for eight, and a cozy living area with a gas fireplace and a wall-mounted, flatscreen TV for streaming your favorite movies and shows. On the lower level, there's an additional family room with a second TV, a table and chairs for board games, puzzles, or laptops, and a sectional sofa. Additional features of this vacation rental include a private washer/dryer, and a deck from where you can watch incredible sunsets - all just a short walk from the beach!

Family vacation

We took a 4 day trip here and had a wonderful stay. Had everything we needed as far as cooking goes. Loved how close the beach was, I’d recommend to friends and family for sure.

Westport Getaway

Our whole family really enjoyed our time in Westport. Everyone loved waking up to an ocean view and quick walk to the beach. We brought our dog, who had an absolute blast, and took full advantage of this great opportunity.

Disappointed

VRBO does mean something. This property is like renting a hotel room. If that was what I wanted I would have paid less and got the same service. Directions not included and Maps and GPS take you to a dead end. House was not clean, could draw pictures in the grease on the stove, hair on the towels and stuff on the sheets. I took pictures. Very much a hotel feel. Thermostats in the bathroom didn’t work, master shower sang very loud, needs the valve replaced. View is obstructed of the ocean. When you have an issue, you talk to a management company, not the owner. Expect a delay.

Westport home

Ocean is closer than it looks in the pics. My dogs loved the walk to & from the beach. Home is super comfortable. Beds were comfy, the pillows are awful. Toaster oven did not work well. I used the broil for toasting bread. Neighbors were nice.

Perfect house for family and pets

I really enjoyed this property. At first I was a little disappointed that the house was not directly on the beach and had a house partially in front of it but it definitely makes up for it in the house itself. Lots of room so you’re not feeling crowded. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

Labor Day Getaway

This beautiful beach hideaway has a wonderful deck with colorful chairs you can sit in, watch the waves and the sunset.

Wonderful beach cottage!

This is a very clean and nice place to stay. It is just a 5 minute walk to the beach, and close to everything else in Westport. There is an outdoor shower to wash sand off, and a washer and dryer to clean clothes. The games and puzzles were fun to play with. The only downside is that there was no Air Conditioning, and it got into the 80s inside the house during the day.

Wonderful beach front property

Beautiful home on the ocean! Neighbors are not happy about having a vrbo in their neighborhood and they let that be known. Also no more than 8 people allowed at anytime so don’t use this home as a place to have dinner etc if you have family also staying in the area. Other than that it’s perfect!

A much needed retreat

Spring beach trip

Beautiful house with plenty of room for our whole family. We lucked out and had sunny weather for 2 out of the 3 days so we were able to use the wonderful deck with it's views of the ocean. We will definitely try to book again.

Enjoyable Trip to Westport

Really enjoyed our stay at this home. The view is wonderful and the location is close to town. There are signs in the neighborhood as stated in other reviews that VRBO are not welcome, but we were not approached by any of the neighbors.

Great House

House was gorgeous, spacious, and amazing. The neighbors, however, all had signs up informing us that "VRBOs not welcome" and proceeded to yell at us as we pulled into the property. Didn't bother us too much, but a heads up would've been nice.

Totally Awesome

Peaceful and Tranquil Getaway

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Cottage on the Crest. The home is very clean, great decor and thoughtful touches and supplies you'll need whether you prepare your meals/time inside, on the deck, by the fireplace, or traveling to the beach. The beach access is very close and we spent many outings walking along the coast and enjoying the views. Speaking of views - you can also see the beach from the deck and from the kitchen/dining/living room areas which was a nice touch while sipping our morning coffees and enjoying cozy time by the fireplace! Thank you for sharing your place with us and providing a comfortable and wonderful place for us to get out of town, enjoy the coast, and relax. We look forward to coming back whether it’s another partner getaway or we bring more family since there is plenty of rooms and beds for more. Much appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay

The cottage was very clean when we arrived. As it rained nearly the entire time we were there the house was large enough to allow our whole family to spread out. Our grand children (all under 6 years) enjoyed flying paper airplanes up and down the stairwell. The fireplace was very inviting coming in from the cold. We just had a wonderful time.

Amazing!

Very clean. Close to the beach and to West Port. We had an amazing time, fishing, claiming and crabbing. The house had everything we needed to prepare every meal. We had deer visit every evening and even saw a coyote. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Family beach trip

We had a wonderful stay at Cottage in the crest. The house was located close to beach access and the view of the ocean from the upper floor and deck was wonderful. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. We had never been to Westport before but hope to be able to come back.
