The house was completed in July 2016 and lovingly furnished. The cottage has

On the ground floor there is an approximately 45 m² living and lounge area with a fireplace, an open kitchen and the spacious dining area with a direct view of the lake.

The property has an old stock of trees, which provides shade on hot days, but also offers plenty of space for sunbathing on the lake. You can enjoy breakfast or a romantic dinner at sunset on the hotel's own jetty. Of course, swimming and boat trips on the lake are also possible from here.

The house is located at the Hohenfelden reservoir in the middle of Germany and is only 15-20 km away from the state capital Erfurt and the 'classic city' Weimar.

The 40 hectare reservoir has excellent water quality and is adjacent to a forest area.

The Avenida Therme with sauna area and water park is 500 m away.

Our house is located on a 750 m² property with direct access to the lake.

From here you can discover the nearby cities of Erfurt, Weimar and Jena, or explore the surrounding area.

Immediately adjacent to the Hohenfelden reservoir is the Ilmtal bike and hiking trail that leads to the Thuringian Forest.

The reservoir also offers a thermal bath with a bath and sauna area, a lido with a 30 m water slide. An adventure playground, beach volleyball facility and separate nudist area.

In the adjacent forest there is also a family climbing forest with 118 climbing elements, the active park and a mini golf course.

Fall Family Trip

We rented this house for 5 days. The location and amenities (boat, tree swing, and backyard) were amazing. My kids loved it. However, the cleanliness and bedding comfort of the property was fair compared to another house we rented down the street. This house needs a deep cleaning to remove dust not just on counters but also on hard to reach corners. Very important for families with kids prone to allergies. Furthermore, there were little bugs and spider webs on the ceiling in the kitchen and downstairs living space. The house has not bug screen at windows or doors. Therefore we couldn’t enjoy a cool fall breeze in the house. WLAN is very Limited. Definitely not suitable if you need to work remotely or want to browse the internet. Upstairs and downstairs light motion sensors didn’t work properly. The light didn’t turn off after day 3. As for bedding comfort, the second and third bedroom mattresses were hard and super thin, very uncomfortable even for my kids. No additional bedding for blankets and pillows was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Mutter, Vater, Kinder und die Großeltern haben den Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus genossen. Highlights: Blick auf den See, Nutzung der Sauna im Haus, zu Fuß zum Spaßbad, zum Mini-Golf, zum Klettergarten und zur Pizzeria, mit dem Bus 155 nach Erfurt, mit dem Auto nach Weimar und nach Kranichfeld zur Falken-Show und zum Einkaufen.

sehr schönes Haus in sehr schöner Lage am See

Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Die schöne große Eiche hat auch trotz sommerlichen Temperaturen angenehmen Schatten gespendet. Auch die Außendusche ist sehr erfrischend. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und die Übergaben war sehr unkompliziert. Die schöne Deko ist allerdings nicht Kleinkindkompatibel - kann man aber auch alles hoch bzw. wegräumen und bei Auszug wieder zurückstellen :-) Alles in allem - gerne wieder!

Komfortables Ferienhaus direkt am See in der Nähe der Thüringer Kulturstätten

Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge nach Weimar, Erfurt, Rudolstadt, Arnstadt etc., guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem Fahrrad, Inlinern, zum Wandern. Erholung pur auch vor Ort auf der Terrasse oder dem Steg, im Ruderboot, am Kamin oder in der Sauna. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Zur Ruhe kommen, genau hier.

Es ist ein traumhaft schönes Fleckchen Erde. Wenn man Ruhe braucht und die Natur liebt, dann ist man hier genau richtig. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist in jeder Hinsicht perfekt. Sehr gute Erreichbarkeit und immer lösungsorientiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

sehr schönes Haus an einem sehr schönen See

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei einem Familienurlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, die Lage am See mit eigenem Bootssteg traumhaft. Wir konnten SUPen, Boot fahren, schwimmen oder einfach nur den Enten und Haubentauchern zusehen. Ein Highlight war das Frühstück auf dem Bootssteg. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen - es ist vollständig ausgestattet, sehr wohnlich eingerichtet und es mangelte an nichts. Die Sauna haben wir im Sommerurlaub nicht gebraucht - zumal die schöne Avenida-Therme fußläufig erreichbar ist. Ein Lob auch an die Gastgeber - der Kontakt war sehr sympathisch und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine echte Perle für Familien

Das Ferienhaus eignet sich perfekt für einen Urlaub mit der Familie. Wir waren mit unseren drei Kindern vor Ort. Das Haus liegt wunderschön direkt am See und verfügt über einen privaten Zugang zum See. Ein Traum für Familien, da Wasserspaß ungestört und sofort zu jeder Zeit möglich ist. Wir hatten auch viel Spaß mit Boot und SUP, beides vorhanden. In der Nähe sind zahlreiche Ausflugs- und Freizeitmöglichkeiten vorhanden und auch gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen, z.B. Waldkletterpark, Adventure Golf, Freilichtmuseum. Weiterhin liegen Erfurt und Weimar nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Die Unterkunft ist aufgrund ihrer Lage, ihrer Großzügigkeit und ihrer perfekten Ausstattung eine wahrer Traum - und eine echte Perle, auch an den Tagen, wenn das Wetter nicht ganz so schön ist. Jederzeit ungestört konnten wir den direkten Blick auf den See genießen. Erholung pur! Die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft und der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war stets hervorragend sowie total nett und unkompliziert, dafür herzlichen Dank! Gerne vergeben wir daher 5 Sterne. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen dieses wunderbare Objekt weiter.

Hervorragende Lage

Das Haus liegt ruhig am Ende einer Quartierstrasse und direkt am See mit eigenem Boot mit Ruder und Elektromotor. Ideal zum baden oder mit dem Boot oder dem Stand up paddle auf dem See unterwegs zu sein. Das Haus und die Küche sind komplett ausgestattet, sogar mit Sauna, die wir natürlich auch benützt haben. Der Standort des Hauses ist auch sehr gut für Ausflüge und Besichtigungen. Wir waren in der Avenida Therme (10 Minuten zu Fuss) und in Eisenach, Erfurt und Buchenwald.

Tolles Haus mit direktem Zugang zum See

Das Objekt hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! - ruhige Lage am Ende einer Privatstraße - Relaxen auf der Sonnenterrasse oder auf dem Rasen im Schatten der Bäume - der eigene Steg bietet die Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen, Stand-Up-Paddling und Bootfahren - gut ausgestattetes Haus, sauber und gepflegt - herzlicher Empfang durch den freundlichen und flexiblen Gastgeber Klare Empfehlung!

Traumhaus

Unser verlängertes Wochenende war ein Traum. Und das Wetter hat sogar noch einen oben drauf gesetzt und uns im Mai den wärmsten Tag des bisherigen Jahres geschenkt. Das Hau lies für uns keine Wünsche offen. Speziell die Lage, direkt am Wasser, ist einfach genial. Das E-Motor Boot war ein super extra Knüller für die großen und die kleinen. Man konnte auch unser eigenes SUP wunderbar ziehen :-) Ausstattung und Sauberkeit 1A. Und die Sauna und der Kamin setzen für die kalten oder auch Wintertage noch das I-Tüpfelchen auf. Ich habe krampfhaft überlegt was ich als Verbesserungsvorschlag machen könnte, aber mir ist nichts eingefallen. Wir bringen beim nächsten mal sicher 2 SUP mit :-) Alles in allem, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-)

Perfekter Familienurlaub

Traumhafter Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus. Wir haben uns ab der 1. Minute in die tolle Lage verliebt, vor allem Bootssteg und Boot hatten es uns angetan. Alles perfekt organisiert, selbst für Kinderspielzeug war gesorgt. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!
