Charming 1930s Cottage, hardwood floors, 3 blks Main, Pet Friendly!

Locally owned and operated this charmingly restored 1930s Craftsman home is the perfect peaceful retreat.

You will be greeted by your host with with a welcome note. Relax on the front and back outdoor patios. Located in the historical district, take a short walk up Orange Street to popular live music venues Hondo’s and Dancing at Crossroads Salon!

First, the basics: 3 blocks from Main Street, has two king bedrooms with adjacent hall bathroom, living room, furnished kitchen, a fenced shaded yard, front porch swing, and large backyard outdoor space with furniture & firepit.

Frantzen Park is on the adjacent street, overlooking Barons Creek, with walking trails, and a pedestrian bridge to safely walk to Main Street.

For you, personal care products, comfortable spa robes, a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. If you forgot something please do not hesitate to reach out to our local staff. We are here to make your stay a local experience.

For your fur children, the space was designed with pets in mind. We provide a backyard access doggie door and an outdoor dog-secure yard to keep them safe while you're away. Please message us if you have fur children coming so we can plan your welcome gifts accordingly. We also, have a list of pet-friendly venues throughout town.

The home was very clean and wonderful for small dogs (even a doggie door)! We had an issue with the front door knob and they responded immediately. I would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful cottage is the perfect place to stay when visiting Fredericksburg! It is so comfortable and has everything you’ll need to make it feel like home! The front porch and back yard are great for relaxing, even when it’s 100 degrees outside!! It’s so close to town, yet far enough away from all the visitors and traffic. My dog loved it here too!! We can’t wait to stay here again!!!! Thank you Lindsey & Teri for making our stay simple and memorable!! ❤️

Charming Cottage
My husband and I stayed in this wonderful home for a few days and we were so impressed with the cleanliness and the care that is obvious when you arrive. Teri, the manager, was so gracious and easy to communicate with. When we arrived after a 5 hour drive with our 2 fur babies, we were delighted to see a big bowl of cold fresh water for them and a cold bottle of sparkling wine for us!!! We highly recommend this home for anyone visiting Fredericksburg.

Great Father Daughter Time
We had a wonderful time at the Plum Street Cottage. It was exactly as described, clean, comfortable and quaint. The beds were soft and inviting, the shower pressure was superb, the kitchen had everything we needed and the front porch was delightful. Our host was gracious and accommodating. The only downside was we did not get to stay long enough. We will be back. Thank you Lindsey!

Hill Country get away
We were seeking a weekend getaway in the Hill Country and found at Lindsey’s cottage. The cottage is well appointed and decorated in a bright and contemporary style. The porch swing is great way to enjoy the peaceful shady street. The property is well positioned to be close but probably a shorty drive from Main Street. Check in details were clear and Lindsey was a great host with timely and informative communications. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The cottage was very nice and cozy. They provided everything we need and more! If we could add one thing it would be a gas grill. But our stay was perfect. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect pet friendly cottage
Our stay was fantastic! The cottage is adorable in a quiet neighborhood close to all of the Main Street shopping and restaurants. The fenced yard is wonderful for bringing your dogs. Every amenity is provided for a home away from home feeling. The host was very accessible for any questions or needs. We absolutely want to return! Wonderful location, just a block from a small dog friendly park. A very clean and quaint house in a quiet neighborhood. It’s within walking distance of several decent restaurants and shopping downtown. We loved drinking our morning coffee on the front porch. Host is quick to respond and generous with amenities.

Perfect little stay!
Perfect stay with our two fur babies. Cottage is darling and has everything you need. They treated our pups with a few gifts as well as champagne and charcuterie board for the humans. Beds were comfy, place was clean and so welcoming. We loved the fenced in backyard for the pups as well as walking distance to Main Street. So happy we picked this place for our first stay in Fredricksberg.

The cottage was wonderful, clean, and in a great location. We were able to walk right into town to all we were looking to do while there. Teri and Lindsey were wonderful hosts, they even had treats ready for our furry friends. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic in every way!
Spent our 10th year anniversary with husband and 2 small fur babies. The home was perfect... decorated beautifully for the holidays, champagne and cheese board, treats for our "girls", close to main street, greeting and text for safe trip home from owner and exactly as shown online. Cozy cottage!
We enjoyed this cute, homey cottage. Clean, well decorated, close to Main Street with everything needed for a getaway. We were greeted with champagne, a charcuterie tray and New Year’s Eve goodies! Treats were left for our fur baby too! Property owner was readily available to answer our questions. Definitely will be back!

Great Short Vacation!
My husband and I just got back from Fredericksburg, Tx. We stayed in the best VRBO house. The owner and manager were perfect hostesses.They even gave us good suggestions for restaurants and activities. The hostesses left out great welcoming treats for us. They even left out treats for our Golden Retriever, Bonnie. We will certainly come back! Linda W
