Rustic modern1928 Cabin in the heart of the Pikes Peak region.

Welcome to Cozy Cascade Cabin, within 20 minutes from Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, hiking and biking trails. The private, quiet cabin is conveniently accessible on paved asphalt roads about one mile from US Highway 24.

We hope you enjoy your stay in our historic mountain home, built in 1928. Cozy cabin is nestled in the pines at 7,379 feet, with mountain views, and features a spacious deck for entertaining. Cozy Cascade Cabin is a single family residence which you will have all to yourselves. Check-in and out is independent by electronic keypad.

Our cozy cabin has two bedrooms plus a bunkroom. The cabin has a large, open living/dining/kitchen area with tall ceilings, log beams, and a stone fireplace. Large windows provide mountain and forest views in every direction. A large bathroom with claw foot tub allows you to soak under soaring ceilings or shower with a view of the blue skies. A full kitchen has all the appliances, dishes and utensils you need to cook up a great meal. Enjoy the large, raised, wrap-around deck to soak up the Colorado sunshine. We have provided a charcoal grill, table and chairs on the deck for your enjoyment.

The amenities include two bedrooms on different levels. On the upper main living level is a small master bedroom with a queen bed and walk in closet. The living room has a sofa which can become a queen sized bed. The downstairs bedroom is accessed inside via a small, rustic circular staircase and contains a queen size bed. That bedroom also has french doors leading outside. There is a bunkroom adjacent to that bedroom that contains an upper and lower single bed (2 beds). All bed linens, pillows and additional blankets are in the closet in the main bedroom.

On the main level, the bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower, a complete kitchen with dishes and utensils, drip coffeemaker, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and Ninja air fryer/toaster. The living room has a wood burning stone fireplace, the sofa, and a leather recliner, and a smart television with remote. The dining room has a large table and chairs. Wi-Fi is included and cellular phone service is consistent. The smart TV has an outdoor antenna for local channels and personal apps can be used.

The living room and master have ceiling fans---the fan/light in the master has a remote control on the bedside table.

We are dog friendly, but owners must pick up after them. We have a doggie gate on the deck so they can enjoy the outdoors with you. Please do NOT leave pets out there without supervision, due to predators present.

Mountain cabin

We really loved the location of this cabin in proximity to everything we were doing. Cozy and quaint cabin with a very nice view from a really awesome deck! We spent quite a bit of time outside on the deck and enjoyed spotting deer and also loved the sight and sounds of the birds in the area.

Cozy and well located

The property is excellently located to everything. We especially loved exploring the nearby town of Green mountain falls with amazing food and hiking trails. The cabin has everything you need including kitchen cooking implements. Host was very responsive as well! Note that the stairs to the basement do require agility and care but are doable. Our one suggestion is to add hooks in both bedrooms and a table or something in the lower bedroom.

Greta little cabin.

Property owners couldn’t have been more Pleasant to work with. Issues when we arrived but on a vacation, why stress? Easy communication and problem resolution made this trip amazing. The cabin itself is great location and size. The only thing with small kiddos is the staircase down is small and steep. My kids at 9/7 and handled it well. The view and patio is amazing. Thank you for a stress free trip. Highly recommended!!

Cascade Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It was very clean and comfortable! The door lock process was very simple. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The claw foot tub/shower is very nice. The master bedroom is small. The deck outside is beautiful to sit on. I liked that the deck had a latched entry to keep our dog on the deck! I would definitely stay here again!!

Great visit!

a) Property was clean and tidy on arrival. b) Furniture and amenities were quality, not stuff picked up randomly at a garage sale. Also, when property was renovated, quality materials were used (windows, decking, plumbing fixtures, programmable thermostat, internet, digital door lock, ...). Everything worked (although the shower was a little wonky for a newby). We didn't use the grill or fireplace, but they looked in excellent condition. c) Deck, with nice gate and comfy chairs, is a big plus, especially for a dog to observe nature. Humans too, actually! d) Great location; we hadn't even realized how convenient the location is (3 miles north of Manitou Springs/restaurants/services, close to GoG and Pike's Peak). Not isolated but quiet. e) Be aware that the original footprint of the cabin was not spacious, and that is what they had to work with when renovating. If that works for you, then you'll love it. Also, kids would love the circular staircase leading to the sleeping area downstairs. An adult carrying luggage ... not so much. We didn't even use or need that area, though.

Love this place

This is a wonderfull place to stay. Clean, very cool. If looking for a nice quiet place, nestled on the side of a hill in a wooded area. It very centrally located to everything. The neighborhood is great and people around are very nice. I highly recommend staying here and would again.

This cabin offers a beautiful atmosphere & was a great location. 6 miles either way from towns with so much to do! It was the perfect fit for just the 2 of us however would be great for a small family as well. We loved it & would go back!

Great Place and location

Our stay was great and the cabin is in the perfect location. We were able to go to Colorado Springs or Manitou Spring in less than 20 minutes. The cabin is quiet and we got to see the deer in the evening right by the entry. We only had one issue and the owners were very helpful and got us squared away in a timely manner. I would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to relax away from everything.

Very pleasant cottage, cozy and comfy!

The home was extremely clean, cozy, and comfy. Often properties are clean and nice but adding comfortable beds is a perk and we loved it. Easy to find, great neighborhood. Everyone is my family was happy with our surroundings and hope to return. On a side note... the chair in the living area might be the most comfortable chair ever!!!!

Nice little cottage/house. Close to everything we came to see.

Hosts/owners were easy to work with. House was great and everything except food was provided. We brought the Grandaughters and enjoyed the ease of getting to Santa's Nort Pole and Pikes Peak also short trip to Garden of The Gods and Manitou Springs.

Rustic yet modern, well-appointed cabin

This cabin was cozy and felt like home. We did not want to leave. The neighborhood was pleasant and deer visited frequently. The host provided a folder with very thorough information about the property and local area attractions. Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Peaceful retreat

The cabin is just as it shows on the listing. Peaceful retreat with everything you need. Kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The deck is amazing with a beautiful view. Abundant wildlife, even a family of deer that stroll through the neighborhood. Cabin is very clean and cozy. Close to many attractions as well. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
