The description has been updated, but when we booked it stated it was a 4 bedroom and it is only 3. It worked out okay, but we thought there was an additional room besides the one with 2 twin beds. The place was clean and it is very large with two different living room spaces. It is a bit out of town and is an apartment above a business, so a couple of the bedroom windows don't have views but face into the business and there really isn't any outside space. We were only staying one night as we traveled through the state, so it was perfect for our needs.
The place was excellent. Expansive, beautiful and well stocked. It was an apartment above a commercial business on a busy road. So the location is not great!

Listing Could be More Transparent
Full disclosure: I would not say we were the target audience for this listing, but it was slim pickings. However, I feel the listing could be a bit more transparent. It's far from what I'd call "luxury" as it is listed. It is an apartment on top of an existing service business surrounded by trucks, garages and vehicles. It's also on a main road with constant truck traffic. It was clean and we had no issues in our short stay, but a more accurate description would be "Large apartment near snowmobile trails."
This is an apartment above a business. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but inside there’s plenty of room and lovely decor. It’s the most well supplied VRBO we have ever rented. It would be great for traveling with in laws, older teens, or another couple. We love that they allow dogs.
My siblings and I booked the apartment for our first trip back home to "the county" in 12 years, and we were not disappointed. I was pleased to see how well-stocked it was, we didn't feel like there was anything missing in the kitchen to be able to cook our meals, and even the bathrooms had some extra soaps in the shower in case you didn't bring your own. They seem to have added a lot of decor and furniture since the listing was made, so it ended up looking nicer in person than the pictures shown. It was hot during the week we were there, but they had air conditioning units set up throughout to keep us nice and cool. I had a question about where to put the garbage, and the host was very responsive to answer. I traveled with my 8 month-old baby and unfortunately they did not have any cribs or pack-and-plays at the time we stayed, but I was able to make arrangements to bring one. That would have been the only thing they could have added to make it a perfect stay for our group. I hope we get a chance to come back and stay here again someday! This was a special and nostalgic location for us to stay, which made our trip even more memorable!
The place was really clean and spacious. Our dogs had plenty of space to play and relax. The recliners are so comfortable that my husband kept falling asleep on them. The mattress and pillows were also super comfortable. The only negative was that there wasn't much of a yard for the dogs outside. Overall though, we'd definitely stay there again. The host was very easy to work with.
We stayed for a college graduation, excellent accomodations for 6 plenty of room to hang out. It is dated but everything was in good working order and didn't show signs of wear. Kitchen was very well equipped and beds, bedding and linens were all very nice. Plenty of tv's and good space to spread out.
My family and I stayed here for a 2 week snowmobiling trip. The space was even better than advertised! Upon entering the home we were amazed by how big it is! Beautiful well stocked kitchen, wonderful soaking jacuzzi tub, comfortable beds and furniture, and pet friendly! The home is well stocked, clean, comfortable, and the people we dealt with during our stay were lovely, helpful and welcoming. The trail access is just down the road, and there is also a park and ride in town if you prefer that option. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Caribou! We will be back!
From the time we opened the door to the end of our stay we experienced total comfort. Although we came well prepared it was comforting to find that if we had forgotten something our host hadn't. We would not hesitate to return here or to recomend. Thank You for a trouble free experiance.
It’s in a great location, short distance to the snowmobile access trail. We had a little problem with the heat being to high, they were very quick to respond and get it taken care of. Very spacious area to sitting around and talk. I will stay here again.
