Living in wine country surrounded by vineyards, private pond and beautiful views, this mid-century beauty is warm and inviting. The pool is the added bonus. Imagine a cool plunge on a summer day. The pool is not heated but we have a heated 6-person spa. Imagine relaxing in the roomy and relaxing spa after wine tasting! Visit in our new outdoor room - a spot to visit or watch a sporting event!

Located in the hub of Lodi Wine Country and nearby wedding venues, this serene spot has spots to walk or just relax.

If this property is booked for your "planned" stay, try our newest property: Lockewood Rancho (an equestrian estate). It is just a few miles east of Lockewood Vineyards in Lodi Wine Country near the quaint town of Lockeford.

Outstanding in their field!

7 women over 70 who spend 4 days together every year. We LOVED the privacy, views, surrounding vineyards and proximity to a charming town which has great restaurants. The house is well appointed and exceptionally clean.

Ideal for Business and Family Gatherings!

This space checked all the boxes for me and my family. Located in a beautiful area, it provided the perfect balance of work and relaxation. I was able to complete my work efficiently and then unwind comfortably afterward. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The kitchen is fantastic if you love to cook, and you can capture beautiful memories with stunning photos during your stay. Highly recommend!

5 high school/college friends went out to Lodi for a girls trip to experience wine country. The location was perfect- we wanted a quiet getaway. The property was beautiful and we had a blast. Thank you!!!

Beautiful home and location

The home is nice and the surroundings are lovely. Well cared for landscaping and lake in the front, with a resident Canadian Goose and a Heron. Interior is as described and photographed. Beds were comfortable, crisp white linens and towels, and the kitchen was well stocked. It is important to read that one sentence in the listing - the POOL IS NOT HEATED. We didn't see that, and it was too cold for us to swim. That was unfortunate. Another issue to be aware of is that since it is located in the vineyards, there are bugs. Tons of them. And we did find black beetles in 2 of the bedrooms, inside the beds. Ug. The owner came the next day to change out the sheets, vacuum the rooms, and get pest control to come to treat the interior and the exterior. Lastly, the dishwasher had a leak but we managed to fix that ourselves. All in all, I would give this house a "B" rating.

Perfect Property for a Group

Our stay was absolutely fabulous, the house is even better than the pictures online. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed to make a great wine tasting trip. It is secluded yet close to everything. We started most mornings with coffee around the pool or hot tub and taking pictures of the wildlife in the vineyard and the pond. I'd highly recommend staying here and experiencing Lodi wine tasting!

Amazing....again....

This was the second time we were at this property and I was so happy that it was actually even better the second time around. We had an issue with flies last time and the owner left us a fly swatter which was much easier to handle. Often times when you go to a place the next year, the property feels worn out from all the visitors, well not this house! This house was even better than the last time. It felt so clean and luxurious. The pool temperature was amazing and we just floated all day long into the early evening. Thank you so much for providing your beautiful home to us, we will be back again next year!

Beautiful and relaxing

Our family stayed at this wonderful home while we in town for a wedding. The home, the grounds and the pool were fabulous. We would love to visit again. We visited multiple local wineries as this was a tremendous centrally located home.

Fabulous Exoetience!

Chose this house for the setting & the pool: loved it all. It was very hot, unfortunately the AC broke down. But the owners were on it & we spent more time in the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, loved walking through the vineyards, and it was lovely in the evenings. I would most certainly stay here again.

Entertainment Haven

This property is perfect for entertainment. Beautiful vineyards surround you with sunsets and relaxation! Everything you would want and more. Well supplied and clean! Our entire family stayed for a hometown visit from NC. We had our adult children plus grandchildren and we were so comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and prompt to respond to our few questions. We even had outdoor heaters! We just can’t say enough but we highly recommend this lovely home.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here. Check in was easy, the house looked just like the pictures and it was very clean. The pool was nice but not heated, but there was a jacuzzi as well. The only issue we had (which is beyond the control of the owner) is the loud noises coming from the frogs in the pool at night. They were so loud and went on for hours at night so if you’re a light sleeper, I would suggest staying in one of the smaller rooms on the other side of the house. Overall, we had a great stay!

A Vineyard Oasis

Spectacular property surrounded on all sides by vineyards. It has a long driveway so it's well off the main road, making it a quiet and relaxing location. The home was well-appointed both in terms of decor and utensils, etc. We were a family of 8, the kids loved the long layout of the house, as it made it feel larger. Hope to return again.

Lovely Holiday Stay

Our family of 5 stayed at the Lockewood home in December - close to the holidays. The house was just beautifully decorated for the holidays and it was delight to cook in the kitchen, where everything was perfectly labelled and organized. The rooms were comfortable and very pretty. There was a very brief local PG&E outtage and the homeowner (Alyce) was immediately helpful by the phone to make sure we were fine and knew what to do (and it was over in just 30 minutes). She also helped give me guidance about the area. Due to the time of year, we didn't get to enjoy all of the outdoor benefits of the property- but they looked beautiful. We had a very comfortable, happy, holiday stay at this spacious, relaxing home. Thank you!

Lovely three day weekend

We rented Lockewood Vineyards for the holiday weekend and family celebration. This place is fantastic! So peaceful and lots of comfy space to unwind. The kitchen had everything we needed including Peets coffee. Beds were so comfortable and we loved how quiet it was. Enjoyed the outdoor area and especially the friendly vineyard cats! Everything was perfect and the attention to details did not go unnoticed. The owners have done a wonderful job thinking of absolutely everything you could want or need. The property is beautiful inside and out. I highly recommend for your next getaway to Lodi wine country!

Ultra Relaxation

We had 8 people in our family group. All of them were so happy about the accommodations. The house was big and very user friendly. It was super clean and well kept. The property was beautiful as it was spectacular. It was in the middle of the vineyard without neighbors. You can walk right through the vineyards, what an awesome experience. Very private. The location was very central. You are 10 minutes away from any store or restaurant you need to go. This is a vacation place where you don’t need to go anywhere else. This property is the vacation. Hope to return soon! The hosts are extremely friendly and nice. Thanks again, Richard and Family.

We grew up in this part of California and love it. We love sharing Lodi Wine Country with our guests.

Why they chose this property

Our location is unique. You are surrounded by vineyards and have a beautiful private pond at the front of the property, and wineries are nearby. Great privacy but minutes from downtown Lodi. Bike Lodi trails are nearby. This is an historic vineyard that was in one family for three generations. It truly combines the history of winegrape growing with the privacy and beauty of Lodi Wine Country.
