We went for Oktoberfest but ended up leaving Helen after only 2 hours just to get back to relaxing in the cabin & hot tub! Cabin was clean & welcoming. Can’t wait to go back & explore the trails & sit by the fire pit.
We used thus cabin for a long weekend away for some much needed rest and relaxation. Cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4. We appreciated the gas grill. We really enjoyed the hot tub since the weather was way colder than usual. Good central location with many great hikes within a 30 min drive. Helen GA was too over commercialize for our taste, but loved the aurrounding areas with more mom and pop shops and restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the electric fireplace playing the provided board games to end the night. Would definitely stay here again.
Great stay here. Cabin was beautiful, clean, and everything you could ask for. Thanks for taking care of our family. We loved the entire property, especially the swing in the pasture. We will be back.
Our stay couldnt be anymore perfect. The home was cozy and the property was gorgeous. We arrived with fresh eggs from the on-site chick-Inn coop in the fridge. Such a nice surprise. We were only minutes from Helen, GA for a little Octoberfest fun & food. So much to see and do within a short drive in any direction. We can’t wait to visit again.
Enjoyed our family vacation. The only issue was there is a cabin on the property just a few feet from the cabin we were staying in. The only issue I had during the entire stay was the people staying in the cabin next door. I could hear them on the back porch. (I could hear them in the hot tub and watching the TV on the back porch.
My mom and I took our first only "just us" trip and stayed at this property. It is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! The amenities are great, the decor, beds, furniture, literally EVERYTHING is perfect! Looking to get away with two couples or two friends, or a family getaway with your special person and a couple of kids? Stay here!
This is one of the nicest cabins I’ve ever stayed in. This cabin is tastefully decorated and very up to date. My only suggestion is to put a full body mirror somewhere so us female can see what our outfits look like. Overall we had a great stay!!! Loved it!
The property was perfect in every way except for the beds were hard and there were no ceiling fans. At night with the heat on I had to open a window so that the air would circulate through the bedroom. If the beds were softer and there were a few ceiling fans this place would be perfect for any duration of stay.
Hope this helps

The main reason this beautiful cabin did not receive a 5-star rating was that the hot tub (one of the perks that I was REALLY looking forward to) was unusable. After a long day of hiking I was anticipating a good soak, but the water was barely warm. I texted at 6:45 or so, got a return text a couple of hours later, and then close to 11:00 the PM knocked on our door (we had missed a text and were in bed). She told me that they keep the temp at 88 degrees, which is understandable---but someone certainly should have turned it up knowing guests were coming. If you rent this property, check the hot tub as soon as you arrive so that someone can adjust the temp if needed! Otherwise, this is a small but very, very nice cabin that looks brand new. There is little room for guests to put suitcases or toiletries---there are no hangars (although there is some hanging space) or dressers, and very litttle counter space. We had to put our two suitcases in the second bedroom, which has a bench at the foot of the bed. In short, it works best for 2 adults---4 would be tight, and I don't think it is a place for children.
All of that said, it is beautiful...you will find a well-equipped galley kitchen, great furniture and a lovely view from the back deck (the front porch is very close to the driveway to other units). With the caveats I have mentioned in mind, I would still highly recommend it and would definitely book again!
The cabin was clean and well-kept, it was close to everything we wanted to do in Helen. Overall a great experience
