Wow, great views and property. This was a lovely log cabin with unique history. Charmingly decorated and was comfortable and cozy. My dog was happy too!
Loved sitting around bonfire at dusk and watching the deer and in morning out kitchen window. Very relaxing place to stay, and if in area again will stay here.
What a great place to stay if you’re looking for something cozy and rustic while exploring the New River Gorge National Park. The cabin is comfortable and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
Stayed here to explore the New River Gorge area and this was a great place to do that. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and convenient. The ONLY thing we would recommend is the yard light be able to be turned off
Cabin was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. Unqiue history and story to the property and cabin. Conveniently located near New River Gorge National Park too.
It be unique to be able to stay in an old log cabin. The cabin was very cozy. There was a herd of deer in the field by the house the first night we arrived.
This clean, cozy cabin was a nice retreat after site seeing and hiking/walking a few miles each day. It was so peaceful and quiet. A great place for a couples getaway!
The property and cabin are very well maintained and an awesome place to stay while we explored the gorge. Hosts were incredibly friendly and made the stay even better, highly recommended to anyone visiting the area
Just what we needed. Such a beautiful place, especially in the fall. Kitchen was adequately stocked but we brought everything we needed. Cozy beds and plenty of warmth. The grounds are gorgeous and steeped in deep history that is explained on a print out in the cabin. We will be back!
Had a great time for the weekend visit. The cabin is very close to all the hiking trails & some dog-friendly eateries & breweries. We didn’t get to take advantage of the fire pit bc it was very hot the whole weekend, but the cabin stayed nice and cool, even without using the AC. We would definitely stay again if we come back
What a lovely cabin! We were so comfortable here. Very close to at least one of the entrances to NRG National Park, and very close to the bridge. So quiet at night. This is a definite A+!
