Stayed for work and loved it! The host was a super host extending my stay at the last minute and prompt response to each request. I am staying a second time!
Check in was easy. I loved the home comfy feeling it provided. The family felt safe and relaxed. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you Again. #navybound#
My mother lives nearby and I wanted a comfortable, clean, and safe spot for my brother and I to stay in. This listing checked all those boxes. Close to my mother and to the best burger I have had in years at Doe’s Eat Place.
It was a good location to get to the shops in SoMa area of Little Rock. I would suggest that the owner put a picture of the outside of the building on the website so you know what you’re looking for. It is a two-story brick building that looks like it was once business, it is not individual family home and the apartment is upstairs. I would also recommend blackout curtains for the front bedrooms so it’s not so bright in those rooms at night due to do the street lights. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and overall it was nice.
I chose this property because it was close to work but not too close since the area around the Interstate is a bit sketchy. The apartment is the entire upstairs of an unremarkable building south of the trendy SoMa area.
My host was responsive, the door code worked, and the decor was impressive. The appliances were new, the TV excellent, and the dining room table made a terrific desk. As with all short-stay homes, be aware of the fees! My final total was nearly double the initial quote.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The property owner was quick to respond to all of our needs. She also left me the sweetest personalized card!! We arrived at night, so it was challenging at first to recognize the door we were supposed to go through. Everything was extremely new and remodeled in the apartment. It is an older building right near the road, so street traffic is quite loud at night, but that’s nobody’s fault! It is definitely overall a very nice place to stay with an owner that really cares.
We loved the quaint little property with easy access to the heart of LR. We went to The Root Cafe which had original food and excellent service with options for my friend (who is vegan). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had a keurig with some pods available for guest use. This spot has one bathroom and a flight of stairs to get to so I wouldn’t consider it a child or elderly house. But with three bedrooms it was great for 3 single bffs wanting a night away. And the host was great as she worked with us on check out time. :). Thanks, Tamara!!
When I initially booked this place there were no photos of the building from the outside. I didn't realize it was an apartment in an old building. The neighborhood seems okay from what we saw. Upon entering the space you're immediately bombarded with the smell of cigarettes. The entire place smelled like smoke. We began to get the kids set up to sleep for the night since we were just passing through. I noticed I could feel waves of heat coming from somewhere and began to check the windows. Every single window but one (and there's many windows here) was unlocked and the tops were sliding down and/or the bottoms were not all the way shut. I had to go through them all and make sure they were all shut and latched properly. The windows themselves were absolutely filthy so much so that by the end I had to take something for my allergies because they were going crazy. The listing also fails to mention that there is no thermostat in the unit and it is controlled through the owners phone so if you'd like to change the temperature you have to message that person, that was a bit off putting to say the least. The apartment just seemed overall not very clean. The mattress in the back bedroom was absolutely awful, if there's two people on it you will sink into the middle. The back bedroom has blackout curtains which is great but the front rooms really need them as well with the street lights and noise off the street, it was basically daylight in those rooms. All in all, I would
