Stretch out on the sectional in the welcoming living room, complete with pair of armchairs and a smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen is detailed with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a farmhouse sink. Savor appetizers at the four-seat kitchen bar, then gather for a festive meal at the eight-seat table.

This home sleeps 10 guests between three bedrooms, each furnished with a smart TV. The primary suite boasts a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two guest bedrooms are each outfitted with a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. The guest bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

This family-friendly property is fenced and includes a sprawling yard – perfect for playing games. Twinkling lights are strung from the Gulf-view balcony, equipped with comfy seating for four. The large covered patio is ideal for dining alfresco, furnished with four Adirondack chairs and two picnic tables.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and an outdoor shower are provided.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Back to School fun!

The place was very nice and clean. Plenty of room to sleep 10 comfortably. Plenty of towels, pillows, cooking utensils, pots & pans. But make sure you bring your own silverware or plastic ware, there was none to be found. From going to Galveston yearly, I know the internet and cell service is very iffy on the West End of the beach. So, be prepared to put your phones away and enjoy each other’s company.

Always great

The house was clean and a great location. This is our second year staying at sunset cottage. I have 4 stars because the TV in one of the bedrooms would not work. Everything else was perfect.

Nice space.

Nice space, accommodating. Plenty of sheets, pillows, towels. Furniture & decorations very nice. Bring your own flatware. We had to go buy plastic. They need to upgrade cleaning for floors. Grit on floor, trash & food left under the beds.

Great place, needs some attention

Overall this place is great! It's beautifully decorated, bedrooms are spacious and lots of sleeping options, the deck is awesome, ocean view is very tiny but visible, very close to public access beach. Lots of sand toys, 2 small chairs, boogie boards, etc. for your use at the beach. Great space to have a cookout. HOWEVER, it advertises a gas grill that does not work (as of June 24). Propane was full, burners would not stay lit (was not the wind either) so when you go buy $200 worth of groceries to have a cook out and the grill doesn't work...that evening will be a bust and your whole party will be ticked off and irritable and wind up eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches :( There are NO eating utensils...anywhere. The morning after we arrived, we had to drive(which is a pretty good) to go get utensils since we had started breakfast and had nothing to eat pancakes with. It's odd because there is everything else you could think of to cook with. You'll need coffee and liners for a traditional drip coffee maker (expected). There were no paper towels. There was 2 kitchen towels, no kind of kitchen scrubber so if you're going to cook you'll need to pick that up, one tiny bottle of palmolive dishwashing liquid. 1 hand towel in each of the 2 bathrooms, multiple bath towels and many wash cloths. Skillets are REALLY scratched up, need to be replaced. Refrigerator has water only, there is no ice maker so you'll to pick up ice. They ask you to start towels when you leave but there was no laundry detergent so you'll need to pick that up. The biggest issue for us, was not having Wifi or TV for the first day of our 3 day trip. It was frustrating because I needed to complete payroll for my company and had to spend 1/2 day at Schlitterbahn (free Wifi) working on the computer while my family played. They did come and replace the modem the 2nd evening and get TV's connected. The strung lights on the deck DO NOT work, the plug end is destroyed. The key lock box will give you FITS to get into. Just keep trying, you'll get it. The door lock is difficult. You have to hold the handle up to turn the lock. You'll think it's not working. It's a great place in so many ways but just needs some tweaks that are necessary to make your experience without frustrations. I run a resort in Southern Oklahoma so I do know what reasonable expectations are. A few big ones were not met.

Fantasy Football Draft Weekend

Property was perfect, ended up having 7 adults and everyone had their own bed. Plenty of room, great table for breakfasts and games. Right across street from beach, loaded up our truck and spent the day at the beach. Will be back again for sure

Family Beach Vacation

The property was very nice, comfortable and relaxing. It accommodated 3 children and 6 adults very nicely. According to the instructions to access the property, it stated that at 4 pm on date of arrival I was to text the property manager for an access code, which I did. However, the property manager kept telling me that an access code was not needed because this was a key access property. However, I needed an access code to access the lock box to get the key. We arrived at 4 pm however did not get access to the property till 4:30 pm. The phone operators need to be trained on the access of this property. Also, only 1 trash bag was provided for the kitchen trashcan. Not acceptable for a family of 9. With the exception of these items, I give this property an overall rating of 8.

Great house

The house was perfect for our moms, daughters and kids trip! The kids loved the games downstairs, and toys upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of towels. Only thing we didn’t know we should have brought was kitchen trash bags. Great stay, would highly recommend!

Sea Cottage stay pros and co s.

Pros: Cabin is nice. Decor is great. Great rain shower in the master bath !sleeping arrangements are good. Very clean. Good location for families. You do have to cross main highway to reach beach but it is walking distance and the beach was clean and less crowded. Cons: Don’t expect to get early check in or late check out. I was never able to make phone contact with Turnkey even though the website states to contact anytime. Every communication was by text message and almost seemed automated. coffee maker is standard. Filters not included and it was moldy in water container. Also washed tons of grounds out of it. One of the laundry doors was dragging floor and hinges were broken. One of the cabinet doors in the master kept falling off the slide. Furniture downstairs rusty to the point that one rocker leg was rusted thru. It’s a 19 mile drive to Main attractions in Galveston and depending on traffic can take a while to reach them. over all the cabin met our needs.

Perfect getaway for our group!

Wonderful property, great location, exactly as advertised

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 children. We were stuck inside due to weather one of the days but there were multiple TVs when we needed them, a huge, covered area under the house with games as well as games inside the house. It was really relaxing to sit on the upstairs porch/deck in the evening. Everyone loved the property and we would have no problem renting again.
