From there everything is very well within walking distance, cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, shops and the city beach are in the immediate area. Beautiful Old Town Experience

The property had all the necessities for your stay. It is centrally located to go by foot anywhere within the old town. The host was lovely and could answer all your questions. Beds were comfortable. Loved the old world style throughout. Cooking facilities and hot water was good. Nothing to complain about. Excellent base for day trips. Thanks for having us xx

Lage Lage Lage

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Zentral und dennoch abseits des Trubels. Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber absolut zweckmäßig und es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wenn es noch einmal Chania sein sollte, dann auf jeden Fall bei Chris !

Wunderbares Altstadtflair

Ein ganz zauberhaftes Apartment am Rande der Altstadt von Chania, deshalb ziemlich ruhig. Von hier aus gelangt man entspannt auf kürzestem Weg in die äusserst pittoreske Altstadt und an den stimmungsvollen Hafen, wo sich an tollen Restaurants und Geschäften vorbei herrlich bummeln lässt. Unsere Gastgeberin Chris war sehr herzlich und immer hilfsbereit, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei ihr sehr genossen und können jedem diese schöne Unterkunft mit viel Flair und Atmosphäre wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Thomas und Adrianna

Schöne kleine Wohnung in bester Lage.

Es ist ein wunderschöne, kleine Wohnung in einem, mit Liebe renovierten und eingerichteten, alten Stadthaus in perfekter Lage, gleich hinter der Stadtmauer ohne Straßenlärm. Die obere Wohnung, in der wir waren, ist praktisch und gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügte über einen kleinen Balkon. Durch die alte Bausubstanz herrscht ein angenehmes Raumklima. (Achtung : es werden 2 Wohnungen vermietet, welche man bekommt, kann man bei der Buchung nicht auswählen.) Chris ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!!

tipica dimora cittadina d'una volta nella città vecchia di La Canea

Un simpatico appartamento nel centro della città vecchia di Khania, in una casa d'epoca ben restaurata e arredato con gusto particolare di mobilio e oggetti d'una volta, sembra quasi di trovarsi in un museo. Molto pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile, ci ha aiutato in molti modi. Siccome non c'è aira condizionata, ma solo ventilatori, d'estate l'appartamento al primo piano può diventare molto caldo, dunque può convenire scegliere quello al piano terra, che è sempre fresco e molto più grande. E' comodissimo a tutte le cose che si possono desiderare a la Canea (spiaggia, porto, musei, taverne, stazione dei bus ecc.

Traditional apartment in a beautiful part of town, with an attentive, friendly host

The property is old and full of history. It is a lower apartment, so not lots of natural light, but therefore, cooler than many properties near by. There was plenty of room and the decor was traditional and homely. As a base and place to go out from into the wonderful surrounding area on your doorstep - it is great. There isn't a lounge, so you need to relax on the bed in the main room/kitchen, but most of the time we were out in the sun, so it was ideal. Chris is a great host - very very attentive - communication was great, she met us at the station and checked we were OK throughout. Very helpful tips for travel to local places - really supportive.
