Myself and my partner Ollie escaped the London rat race in 2018 and have been fortunate enough to travel extensively before COVID meant that we had to be back on UK soil. We are now building our version of the 'good life' on the North Essex coast.

Why they chose this property

We are back at Ollie's family home - The Lodge - a 15th century hunting lodge set in 3 acres of land where we have recently completed building our first luxury bespoke shepherd's hut from scratch which was a labour of love to say the least! We would love to have you stay at the Lodge to relax, recharge and reconnect.

What makes this property unique

The hut is completely bespoke and is nestled away from it all surrounded by countryside and uninterrupted views. We are located just 10 minutes from the coast and also close to beautiful country walks so you really can experience the best of both worlds when visiting the Lodge. We are also accessible by train and foot and within 1.5 hours of London but you will feel a world away from city life when staying in our cosy hut.
