My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on Feb 28th and spent our weekend enjoying this beautiful cabin I would highly recommend checking this out if you’re visiting the area
Great stay, host was awesome.
Definitely would love to see more of their properties to invite family for a getaway

Room for improvement
The upstairs living areas were clean and comfortable overall. We weren’t aware that the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry are on the lower level and ceilings are very low down there. When we arrived we found a previous occupant’s dirty dishes in the dishwasher, their garbage hanging near the back door, and kitchen cabinets/drawers disorganized and not very clean. We spent a while cleaning all of the dishes, and wiping the crumbs and dust out of the drawers and cabinets. If you intend to do any cooking you may want to bring your own pots/pans - the ones in the kitchen are not appealing. Plenty of plates, but only one cereal/soup bowl. Kitchen was not very well equipped for anyone planning to make meals on-site.
It was nice to relax in the hot tub while listening to the waves in Lake Huron. The three neck waterfall/headrests in the tub are sticky and deteriorating - they should probably be replaced.
We did message the owner to let them know of our less than satisfactory impression upon check-in and heard back fairly promptly. We also messaged the MiCasa rep (per the instructions in the folder), but never received a response.
House was very clean and as described. Huge shower and nice view of Lake Huron from the upstairs living room and balcony/deck. .Check in was very easy and Jessie went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable.
Great communication. Would love to come back and enjoy the beach in the summer.

Not what we expected
Once we settled in the house was fine for three people. But listing implied that it was lake front. When we arrived we found a large two story house between us and the lake, and we had to walk through the yard of the other house to get to the water.
Nice little cabin with great view of Lake Huron. Clean and comfortable. Only small drawback is the location of the only bathroom is downstairs Also not able to really tell where we had permission to beach access since there are many houses and residents in the area. Easy to contact host and very accommodating. Port Sanilac is a nice little town and port Huron isn’t too far away if all else fails and you want more options for things to do or eat. We enjoyed staying in and doing puzzles, reading and watching sunrise and sunsets over the water. Would stay again!!
Great place to stay, however plan to bring a few essential cooking items (spices, big bowl, baking sheet) if you plan on doing most of your cooking at the home, as these items were not available, and we need more than salt and pepper to cook. The bed in the master was lovely, I slept like a baby. Especially after a night in the hot tub! Would definitely stay here again!
Awesome view, awesome view. Frank was a great host and I highly recommend his place.

Pictures were better on app.
Coffee pot was moldy dishes dirty. Didn't say it was on a hill until day before, a living room was not on main floor and bathroom was downstairs, I left same day as check in definitely not handicap accessible you couldn't see much of lake huge house in front of you, wifi didn't no cell service and no tv.
This rental location and size was perfect for our large group to enjoy a fall weekend getaway and attend a friend’s wedding. The town has a historic village worth checking out. It was decorated for Halloween and had a spooky trail. The wedding was in the village church. All within minutes of our location. The town’s marina and restaurants were a wonderful surprise. A great Fall mini trip.
Nice little place. Perfect for me and my wife. Upstairs and balcony overlook Lake Huron. Hot tub wasn’t working when we were there, but they did try to fix it. Would stay there again.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! A girlfriend and I decided to run away for a long weekend, and this cabin was perfect. Small but cozy, beautiful views, and the hot tub ❤️ We will definitely be back with the husbands!
I recommend this place. The view was amazing. The town was quaint and we enjoyed visiting the local restaurants and antique shops. The hot tub was out of order, but they had another that was available.
