A beautiful home, Tranquility of the Shore boasts breathtaking gulf views from its two oversized open-air decks. This home sleeps 9 plus there are child beds that would accommodate an additional three small children. A total of 12 can enjoy the comforts of this Morgantown home's 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. And, did we mention, both the house and the beach are dog friendly?
The Space
Within the interior of Tranquility on the Shore a spacious living area opens to the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops with plenty of space, as well as extra seating at the kitchen bar. A tumbled marble backsplash with a fun custom inlay completes the kitchen. The cooks in the group will appreciate the 5 burner Kitchen Aid cooktop and the large pantry.
Tile floors and plantation shutters throughout add to the custom feel of this beach house.
On the first level, there is a Full over Full bunk with a trundle bed and a full bath.
Head upstairs and you’ll find a convenient workstation “nook”, complete with a desk. This is the perfect spot to catch up on emails, work or schoolwork. On the second floor, the primary suite comes with a luxurious private full bath, as well as private access to a balcony with exquisite views of the gulf. This bedroom also contains two child appropriate sleeper chairs. The bath includes a double vanity, free standing tub and stall shower.
The third bedroom has a plush queen bed and access to a bathroom of its own. You'll find a third single sleeper chair in this room.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown
Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
