Casa Coconino is inviting, comfy, and clean. Guests love to sit on the deck and feed the deer. There is a covered deck on the front of the cabin and a large deck off of the back of the cabin with a propane fire pit. The hummingbirds are abundant during the summer. Guests have plenty of room to gather and make memories.

Spent spring break with my husband, daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren. The house was perfect for us. The deer would come by several times a day. We would definitely consider renting here again.
The cabin was very clean and roomy. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Deer came up in the front yard in the evenings. Humming birds were there all hours of the day. Thanks for sharing your place.

Very clean and put together! I’m cold natured so the electric blankets were a nice bonus! The wood burning stove was a nice addition and the wood and pines provided to start a fire perfect! We would definitely visit again!!! Fantastic place!!
The cabin is excellent for sitting on front or back porches and enjoying the beautiful scenery Timberon has to offer. The inside cabin is spacious enough to accommodate a large family. Nice cabin for anyone wishing to getaway from their busy life and recharge. We had a off-range oryx hunt in July so the temperature was in the high 90’s, the cabin had a wall mount air conditioner and it keep the cabin nice and cool. I would definitely book this cabin again.
Beautiful, quiet, serene with a lot of wildlife and nearby hiking trails. We had a great time exploring the area and Cloudcroft. Can't wait to go back.
The property is on a dirt road that was a bit treacherous for my Toyota Sienna, but if you can make it through that (and we did with no problems!), this beautiful cabin is your reward. Ms. Shantel's property is beautiful and the pictures provided do not do it justice. The property was immaculate with everything necessary for a cozy stay. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and bath towels. The king bed that we slept on was comfortable. We loved seeing deer in the front yard throughout the day. It was only two of us, but this would be fun for a family getaway too.
Book this property!
Inviting , Very spacious, and well organized home. Hostess provides you with everything you need. Lots of extra pillows! We loved the daily evening deer visits and beautiful family table in the cabin.
It was very easy and communication with property management was excellent. It is a great place to unplug from life and just sit on the patio and watch the hummingbirds and stars at night!
Cute place but not much privacy. There are neighbores close but no curtains in the kitchen/dining area and Livingroom area.
I felt a little on display at night. We slept well, enjoyed the wildlife, and found the peace and quit was just what we needed.
The cabin was beautiful and we loved the surrounding forest. It was very clean and the hostess was quick to reply when we messaged her. You can tell she takes pride in her property.
My suggestion is, if you have a truck take that. There is a mile or so of off reading that was rough on my Sudan. Other wise well worth the trip and we would stay again!

Why they chose this property
Casa Coconino allows guests a perfect place to stay while hiking in the Lincoln National Forest, hunting in Unit 34 and other places, riding ATVs, fishing in both ponds that are stocked biweekly by NM Game and Fish, attending events happening in Timberon, and golfing. There are two restaurants, one very small store, one thrift store, but nowhere to purchase fuel, or ice!! Come in prepared!!!
