This charming single family home is located in the quaint seafood village of Bayou La Batre, AL. At this beautifully restored 1874 home, you’re only 20 minutes away from the white sandy beaches of Dauphin Island, 30 minutes south of the city of Mobile and 45 minutes east of Biloxi, MS. (If you have time, take a day trip to New Orleans, which is only an hour and 45 minutes away!).

The Neighborhood:
Bayou La Batre, known as the seafood fishing village of the Gulf Coast is a small community centrally located to many popular Gulf Coast attractions. Less than a 1/2 mile away from this home is the best seafood restaurant on the entire Gulf Coast, Catalina Seafood. Come in and taste that day's freshest local catch, ranging from Fried Flounder to Royal Reds Shrimp to the owners home made Gumbo. Fresh seafood doesn't get better than this!
Other Things to Note:
Pets: No cats allowed! Dogs are allowed with a $75 fee per dog. There is a maximum of two dogs no larger than 75 pounds each. Dogs who are categorized as "dangerous" or "aggressive" according the ASPCA are not allowed. Please let us know if you're bringing your furry friend so we can add the appropriate pet fee, as the Airbnb website does not have a spot for us to add the fee. The fee will be added to the cost of your nightly charge. Guests must keep dogs on a leash when outdoors, and clean up after their pets. Guests who bring a dog without notification could face penalty.
