Are you looking for rest and relaxation in untouched nature or an eventful vacation for the whole family? Then off to us in the Thuringian Forest. Our two apartments are centrally located in Oberweißbach at an altitude of approx. 700 m, in a quiet location between the Rennsteig, the famous high-altitude hiking trail in the Thuringian Forest and the wild and romantic Schwarzatal, one of the most beautiful valleys in Germany.
Well-signposted hiking and biking trails invite you to take part in activities and recharge your batteries. Learn more about our native wild herbs on a walk on the herbal nature trail. During a break you can get to know and love traditional Thuringian cuisine. Worthwhile excursion destinations such as the Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the slate quarries in Lehesten, the classic city of Weimar, the Wartburg - UNESCO World Heritage Site in Eisenach and much more can be explored on a day trip.

The apartment (non-smoking) is comfortable and very family-friendly. There is a garden with a seating area and a grill. For children we have a play tower with a sandpit and slide. A table tennis table and a giant trampoline are also available,

Große und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung perfekt für Familien
Wir waren als Familie 10 Tage in der Ferienwohnung und haben es sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es gibt jede Menge Spiele, sodass auch unsere Kinder gut beschäftigt waren. In der Ferienwohnung war alles verfügbar, was man so im Alltag benötigt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war zudem sehr gut Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Schöne und ruhige Ferienwohnung
Herr Stephan ist ein sehr freundlicher Vermieter. Wir waren zu 5. dort und hatten ausreichend Platz. Die Zimmer waren alle sauber, es gab genügend Spiele vor Ort (im Wohnzimmer und im Schlafzimmer unterm Bett), im Garten ist auch eine Raucherecke vorhanden und man kann dort auch gemütlich grillen. Bei den Herdplatten muss man allerdings sehr vorsichtig sein (sie heizen teilweise auf Stufe 1, wie auf Stufe 9), sonst löst man, wie es bei uns der Fall war, den Rauchmelder aus, aber Herr Stephan war sofort zur Stelle, um das Problem zu lösen. Das Restaurant "Zum Ochsen", der Fleischer (beim Restaurant) und das Eiscafé "Saphir" sind fußläufig erreichbar und sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn man Liköre mag, sollte man auch unbedingt bei dem Likörladen im Haus vorbeischauen. Oberweißbach ist ein schöner kleiner und ruhiger Ort. Man kommt von dort aus gut zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie z.B. Erfurt, Weimar, Saalfelder Feengrotte, Lauscha, Weihnachtsbahnhof Sitzendorf, usw. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden die Ferienwohnung immer wieder buchen.

Ruhiger Urlaub im Thüringer Wald
Die Wohnung ist 1:1 wie beschrieben. Sehr sauber, Salz, Pfeffer, Spülmaschinenpulver, Kaffeefilter, mehr als ausreichend Handtücher waren vorhanden. Bäcker und sehr guter Fleischer mit regionalen Waren, rustikale Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend. Check-in und -out unkompliziert. Hier kann man gut Urlaub machen.

Schöner Urlaub in ruhiger Lage im Thüringer Wald
Die Ferienwohnung ist ausreichend groß, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der kleine Spielplatz hinter dem Haus hat unseren Kindern gut gefallen.

Ruhige und schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung
Die Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Ein Brötchenservice steht auf Wunsch auch zur Verfügung, so beginnt der Tag gleich gut und entspannt mit einem leckeren Frühstück. Die Lage ist optimal sowohl im Ort selber als auch in Thüringen insgesamt gesehen. Tagestouren zu Fuß in der Umgebung (z.B. zum Fröbelturm oder mit der Oberweißbacher Bergbahn) oder auch mit dem Auto nach Weimar, Erfurt, Eisenach, etc. - aber wer die Ruhe liebt, der ist hier gut aufgehoben, selbst die große Kirche gegenüber war so gut wie nie zu hören. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor dem Haus. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, so dass der Aufenthalt zu einem sehr erholsamen und interessanten Gesamt-Urlaubs-Erlebnis geführt hat. Klare Empfehlung!

Schöner Familienurlaub
Wir (2 Erw., 3 Kinder) fanden eine sehr saubere Ferienwohnung vor, viele Spiele und eine kleine Erstausstattung sind vorhanden, Betten waren bei Ankunft schon bezogen und Handtücher lagen bereit. Auch der Garten war gepflegt und unsere Kinder hatten viel Spaß. Leider waren viele Straßen in der Gegend gesperrt, so dass sich längere Anreisezeiten zu unseren Zielen ergaben. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Bäcker, Edeka) sind schnell erreicht. Zusammengefasst: Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.
