Casa Rochelle is conveniently located about a 7 minute walk to Piazza Italia. Getting around the center from Casa Rochelle by foot is very easy to do, allowing you to leisurely explore many architectural and cultural treasures Scicli has to offer.
Lovingly restored by the owners Rochelle and John, this ancient stone house has been carefully curated to provide a relaxed, comfortable stay for a couple, small family or single guest, open all year round.
Intimate yet spacious, the open-concept living and bedroom area has a comfy queen bed, a large lounging divan that is convertible for sleeping, a writing desk, or space for stretching and meditation. The side balcony faces a private garden with apricot and myrtle trees, with a skyward view of the hilltop Santa Maria Della Croce, Ex Convent and Museum.
The spa inspired large ceramic bathroom features a soothing rainfall shower and river stone floor. It is well stocked for your comfort with products, added small luxuries, ample space for personal items, and great towels.
For guests who prefer the option of cooking as well as dining out, the well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped featuring lovely dining, glassware and accessories. Cooking in Scicli is an absolute pleasure and local markets are abundant. Also picking up great street food and hot table items is a perfect way to samply local specialities while relaxing at home.
