Great place to stay. Everything worked perfectly. Good water pressure, big space, great extras for kids, awesome kitchen and definitely planning to stay again.
For the second year we have used this house for our annual golf trip. As always it was perfect. Close to my house(half the guys stayed there) and close to all the golf courses.
We had a great couple of days stay. Only issue was with TV. Probably due to my lack of Apple TV knowledge but we were unable to get the tv working correctly (minor issue), otherwise the house was great.
We were in Graeagle for a family wedding and the cabin was great. It’s nicely decorated and very well equipped. The kitchen is well stocked including all the basics like salt, pepper and olive oil. We had my sister and her family over for dinner and the place easily accommodated the 8 of us. I highly recommend this great cabin.
Our friend group of 7 gets together for a trip to the Lost Sierras every summer and decided to try Graeagle this time around, and this was our best vacation yet thanks in large part to this property. The house is just perfect - it’s as lovely as advertised - and is stocked with backups (beach towels, extra blankets, kitchen spices, etc.). Location is just perfect, as the neighborhood is really lovely and you can walk or drive downtown. Owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable, and we will definitely book again!
The security code you provided did not work on the front door. Fortunately the cleaning person was there when we arrived and she give us her pass code number which we used during our the entire stay.
In prior rentals, we were provided both the host name and a phone number where the host could be reached during the stay. this is extremely important and very helpful if something comes up during the visit. Not sure why this is a partof your routine procedure.
Otherwise everything worked out great during our stay. the house and accomodations were great
This property was nice and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We couldn’t get the tv in the bedroom to work but it wasn’t a big deal. Although we could work the tv in the living room I think you need to subscribe to the available channels that come with Apple TV. But it worked out. There were like 4 remotes on the coffee table (which didn’t have batteries in them) and there was no use for them so they should be put away so as not to create confusion.
Everything else was great and I would rent this place again.
Great spot for 4 guys to spend golf weekend. Cut cards and the loser got the bunk bed room but awesome big living room, great central location.
The only downside was you needed an engineering degree to attempt the TV. Does it have DirecTV or just a DirecTV remote? Way too complicated and I don't like this fad of asking me to enter my Netflix or other app accounts to access som basic entertainment. Just provide some basic cable that can be figured out in less than 5 min. Other than that, we had a great time, would rent again.
Cable TV and Entertainment not as expected or assumed
Overall the place was fine, clean, good furniture, mountain decor and design, nice kitchen. However the television, cable tv and stereo use were not really available for the average renter. There was no Local and national network television, streaming channels were limited to Apple TV only. Lots of television related boxes, dvd player, speakers, obsolete modem, 5 remotes all which did the casual renter no good unless they had a detailed manuals explaining what each item was for. Don't advertise TV if it is not really accesible to the general public, without extensive owner manuals or personal experience with all the equipment.
This was a perfect house for our family. It has a huge beautiful great room, a well appointed kitchen, toys for the little ones and a very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you!
