Welcome to Jolene’s Place. This stylish 1100sqft 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has been recently updated and provides all the comforts of home. Located just on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Jolene's is just a short drive to many of the local areas and attractions like Laurel Lake, Cumberland Falls, London, and Corbin. The home sleeps 6 guests with 2 queen beds and a queen highrise air mattress in the living room. The driveway offers plenty of room for boat parking as well.
The Stay:
This is an older cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath home on just under an acre. The interior has been recently updated and features laminate wood flooring throughout. This is an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, and dining areas all together. Most of the furniture in the home was bought in fall 2021 along with mattresses and all linens.

Living room features: 2 leather sofas, end tables, coffee table, accent chair, fireplace hearth, 50" smart Roku TV, coat and shoe rack

Kitchen and Dining Area features: lots of cabinets and counter space, Stainless steel Kenmore Elite appliances, most common small appliances (crockpot, blender, hand mixer) and utensils, coffee bar, complimentary spices, seating for 6 at the bar height table with 2 additional bar stools.

Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with 2 side tables, queen memory foam mattress, alarm clock, bedside hanging lamps, 3 drawer chest, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" Smart TV.

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed with side table, queen memory foam mattress, alarm clock, bedside lamp and table with USB ports inside, chest of drawers, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" TV with firestick, games in top of closet.

Bathroom: Standard size shower, wall and hand held sprayer, complimentary toiletries, towels, hair dryer, curling iron, ceiling exhaust fan and heater

Laundry room: Top load washer and dryer, complimentary laundry soaps, folding laundry basket, decorative salt lamp, bench at back door for shoes, access to the patio.

Covered Patio: 3 rolling shades, Kentucky shaped bench, glass top table and folding chairs; sitting area with rug 2 chairs, couch, table, and propane firepit table.

Backyard has a fenced in area for hanging out or letting the kids play.
There is plenty of parking for vehicles with a turn around spot and additional gravel parking for boats and trailers

It’s a wonderful place to stay!! It’s not huge or anything but we love the space.

Being on the back is porch is the best mainly when it’s warm. My 9 month loves it she can run her walker all over the place. We love the Dolly theme!! Very nice for the price. The hosts are amazing they go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable and don’t forget to sign the book in the living room!! It’s one of our favorite things reading everyone’s else entries!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

We stayed at Jolene's for our 22nd anniversary and everything was just perfect! The house is such a gem - everything perfectly decorated and comfortable! Loved having all the amenities available! The deck/porch area with the fire pit table was a favorite spot for us to just sit and drink coffee. Nice area close enough to everything! Would love to stay again!!

Home was super clean and the owner provided everything listed on vrbo. Loved the cabin, but had boat problems and had to depart 3 days early. Would highly recommend for just a get away or for a fisherman like me

Very nice!

This is a smaller older home that has been remodeled and was very nice. My husband and I were there for a couple of days so that we could do some hiking in the surrounding area. The outdoor space was very pleasant and the kitchen was easy to work in.

Fabulous little lake house

Cozy little lakehouse. Everything was newly updated and very well stocked with anything you might need. Joey, the host, was easy to reach and very accomodating. LOVED just sitting on the side porch. Looking forward to coming back again!

Absolute Perfection!

This little GEM is a wonderful place to stay close to Laurel Lake. It has a large area to park your boat! The house has every amenity you can think and decorated so cute! We loved the large covered porch to hang out and grill! Also the 3 hammocks in the back yard are a nice bonus!! The owner Joey is wonderful and quick to respond to any question! We have stayed at “Jolene “ 3 different occasions and hope to be back next year!!

Graduation getaway

We rented Jolene's Place for our grandson's graduation. It was great for us, clean and comfortable. The deck with the firepit was a hit! They had a well stocked kitchen with nice appliances, beds were comfortable too. It was in the mountains away from restaurants and stores, so very private. If you don't mind the drive, this is a very nice place.

Clean house in between Corbin and London. There are basic things provided like coffee, tea, and bottled water that I have not had in other rentals I've stayed in so that was a really nice addition!

Great stay at Jolene’s Place near Corbin/Keavy/London area!

We have family in the area and thought a VRBO might be nice over a hotel for Thanksgiving. We weren’t wrong! Jolene’s Place was perfect for our family of four. Clean, well appointed, and easy to access. We love it and plan to come back! Our girls especially loved having Netflix in their room and saying hello & goodbye to Jolene every time we came & went. I loved being able to make our own eggs in the morning vs the hotel eggs and the kitchen was very serviceable with everything we needed. Thanks for the stay, Jolene!

Great place

Every amenity you could possibly want was available. There is a wonderful covered deck with a gas grill and fire pit and lots of seating. The kitchen and dining area were both spacious and well equipped. We were able to fix dinner for 8 without needing anything but the food. We really liked Jolene’s and will definitely be back. Convenient to Laurel lake and London. Laundry room and bathroom were both very nice and well stocked. Cute decor as well!

Great Anniversary Trip!!

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 31st Anniversary at Laurel Lake. This was the perfect house!! It was such a surprise to open the refrigerator and find cold water bottles waiting for us along with a variety of creamers!! On the kitchen counter was a huge bowl of a variety of chips!! It was nicely decorated and had Everything you could ask for plus more!! The house is just a short drive to Holly Bay Marina where we kept our boat for the week. One day was gloomy, so we took a drive to The Cumberland Falls!! We will definitely be going back to Jolene's Place!!
