Enjoy a feeling of tucked-away seclusion at this studio cabin-style home in Austin. There’s sleeping space for four guests between a full-size bed in a lofted area and two daybeds on the main floor. A well-equipped kitchenette offers essential appliances for easy meal prep, and a screened porch provides extra space and privacy.

At the entry, a patio area has an outdoor table for relaxing and enjoying al fresco dining. In the mornings, take a stroll along the scenic walking trails surrounding the property.

When you’re ready to explore, head out hiking or horseback riding amid the 300-acre Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park (a 10-minute drive). Drive 5 minutes to local shops and eateries, or travel 20 minutes to the bars, restaurants, and area attractions in downtown Austin.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

Wood-paneled walls adorn this cozy two-story cabin, which offers all the essentials for a laid-back vacation.

The living area is furnished with an armchair and a desk, as well as two daybeds. An enclosed sunroom offers an extra sitting space with a wooden table and two chairs.

Whip up evening meals in a kitchenette equipped with handy appliances, including an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Cupboards are well-stocked with plenty of dishes and glassware. When you’re ready to eat, a bar area offers seating for two.

A lofted area on the second floor offers a full-size bed. The full bathroom has copper accents, plush linens, and a single shower.

Spend warm days relaxing outside on the front patio. Along with a sitting bench, a wooden table with an umbrella and three chairs offers a shady spot for reading, chatting, and enjoying outdoor meals.

THE LOCATION

Drive 10 minutes to enjoy the sanctuary of Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park, a 300-acre green space with hiking trails, a disc golf course, tennis courts, and horseback riding.

Hop in the car and head 20 minutes to hit the shops, restaurants, and hot spots in downtown Austin. In the evenings, drive 18 minutes and unwind in one of the music venues along Rainey Street.

Local dining spots are also minutes away. Grab a table at Maudie's Hacienda for classic Tex-Mex combos, or go for aromatic curries and flavorful noodle dishes at Madam Mam's Thai Cuisine at Brodie (both a 4-minute drive away).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
