Our stay was very good . The only negative was the Hall Bathroom. This problem had been addressed in previous reviews and had not been corrected. The tub and sink both would not drain properly. By the time you were finished with your shower you were ankle deep in water. Same way with sink when brushing your teeth. Also the commode rocks.Other than that the house was a gem.
House meet all our needs. Very clean. Did not fix any meals there, so not sure about how well stocked kitchen was. Nice having basket of snacks and coffee in kitchen for use. Cute touch with the welcome sign on the board leading into kitchen. Dog park was wonderfully, as the dog enjoyed his runs in morning and afternoon.
We enjoyed the convenience of the location. The house was old but fairly nice. It would have been nice if there had been comfortable furniture in the living area.
This rental was very cute and just about everything we needed. Had some issues in the beginning but the owner made it right and I was so thankful. The mattresses and pillows were wonderful! It was a great location for going back and forth to historic downtown while also being able to care for our fur babies, which is a HUGE plus! There are a few maintenance issues that need resolved and there is a old house smell but not too bad. My only major suggestion is to get more comfortable living room furniture as this is the only place that comfort is lacking. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
Excellent location. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Comfortable, spacious, clean house. Beautiful, wooded park just across the street. Great kitchen! Few problems: en suite bathroom sink just trickled water and never got warm, kitchen faucet never got warm, hall bathroom toilet is loose at the base. I'd also suggest installing a small grab bar beside the en suite shower.

Pleasant Laurel location with dog
While we found this property to be conveniently located in Laurel and satisfactorily appointed from a functional standpoint, we were a bit surprised by the high price! The overwhelming musty smell of mold akin to "Grandma's attic," was the first impression upon opening the front door. I will add that the blue front door needs to be cleaned and traces of mold/mildew removed to underscore a more appealing entry. The water pressure throughout the kitchen and bathrooms is extremely LOW. Very frustrating to wait so long to even fill a glass of water at the kitchen sink. Hot water delivery is also delayed, presumably as a result of the low pressure. My husband noted that he awoke both mornings with nasal congestion and watery eyes ... perhaps a result of excessive mold in the air? We did not cook any meals during our stay, but investigation into the kitchen cabinets and drawers, it seemed to be nicely outfitted and efficient. We are not fans of Keurig coffeemakers, so we usually bring our own several-cup Mr. Coffee machine ... no problem for us! Linens were not fancy, but certainly a reasonably quality ... except that they, too, had absorbed the musty odor that prevails throughout the house. House was cheery and tidy ... we enjoyed the nice little sunroom at the front and our small dog loved to look out those windows and watch passersby.
Everything was perfect. One suggestion is let elderly people know that entrance access is not for disabled persons that cannot climb stairs. It was very difficult to navigate stairs to enter.
Our stay in this house was the perfect cozy get away. The location was great (a short drive from downtown and right across the street from a spacious park). We enjoyed slow mornings sipping coffee in the sun room and cozy evenings watching movies.
We booked a long weekend in Laurel during the Loblolly Fest. We found our rental to be very clean and roomy. We loved that there was a Keurig and some snacks provided. We also loved that there were two full bathrooms with nice towels, shampoo, etc. This location was right across from a park and walkable for us into the historic parts of town.
We enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. We really appreciated the thoughtful coffee bar, snacks and bath products, as well as the recommendations in the welcome book. Laurel was everything we expected and more. Beautiful Home Town.
This property and location was great! The house had so much charm and the beds!! WOW- great nights sleep!!! We really enjoyed the sunroom too! We will be back in the future!!
