Overall nice place. Needs some maintenance, 2 of the interior doors would not latch and the dryer doesn't get very warm, needed to run dryer 3 or 4 times to dry. Centrally located for Jay & Stowe. Would rent again.

Nice house for ski vacation
The house was roomy and warm for 3 couples. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials which made cooking two meals easy. The location was convenient for 2 days of skiing at Jay Peak. Given the heavy snowfall leading up to and during the stay, there were some challenges with keeping up with the snow, which was expected.
While ski conditions weren't ideal, this cottage is! 30 minites from Stowe, Smugs or Jay Peak and any easy drive to all the nooks and crannies that are Vermont's friendly communities. The cottage itself was clean and complete with all the amenities we expected.
The house was very clean had everything we needed for our stay. The master bedroom and bathroom were amazing, much nicer than the pictures show. The only minor issues we had were the master bedroom door didnt fully shut which was really no big deal, just put a bag infront of it to keep it shut, and the shower in the master bedroom didnt drain well. Also not that big of a deal since there was another shower. Would definitely stay here again!
Close enough to everything but far enough yo feel tucked away. The owner was extremely quick to communicate when I thought I had been locked out with my dog still inside. The jacuzzi was delightful surprise. Lots of great nearby hikes to take the dogs to. I would definitely recommend and book again next year.
I booked this property for a fall trip during peak leaf season. The check in process was very simple. I did have a question at one point and the response I received from tracy was immediate. It was expected for us and there was plenty of room for all 5 of us!
This is a VT lovely home! It had more conveniences and nicer appliances than my home so it was a wonderful week away from reality. It is a remote setting without being too far from civilization, read Morrisville. Very comfortable king size bed and luxurious primary bathroom. I would definitely stay with these hosts again! Thank you for making us so comfortable.
luxurious primary bathprimary bathroom.
The home is well taken care of & has plenty of room to house 8 guests. Loved the location it was nice and tucked away up a hill. Host responded quickly & provided all the info we needed. Host also provided plenty of amenities such as towels, tide pods, trash bags, TP, bedding, etc. Everything we needed. 10/10 would stay here again
This was our second stay at Tracy's place - you really can't beat the location. There is a huge backyard for kids and dogs to enjoy and it's an easy drive to Stowe and other popular spots. The only downside was that this year there was no outdoor BBQ grill, which we were expecting and which makes cooking on the hotter summer nights much more enjoyable. Hopefully it will be back next year! We also appreciate the large bedrooms, spacious back deck, and three bathrooms - a huge plus when traveling with family!
The house met our needs quite well, the location is nice and quiet, the appliances are very nice. My granddaughter tried to use the jacuzzi once but the water turned rusty and she started getting “orange bubbles”. If you have any mobility issues, you may find it difficult to traverse the decline/incline to and from the front door and then climb the stairs once inside. My wife has a bad knee so we used the back door and made it work just fine. Our biggest issue was all the dog hair. We knew the house was pet friendly but we weren’t prepared for as much dog hair as there was. Both a/c filters were clogged with it as was the main shower drain. My wife found a spare sheet and spread it on the couch so we wouldn’t get dog hair on our clothes.
