Great cabin to enjoy our Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed staying here, everything you would need at home was provided here. This cabin is beautiful, clean and plenty of room for a family. We will definitely plan on staying here again.
My friends and I had a nice, relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The house was very clean. The kitchen/pantry were well stocked and had all the amenities we could possibly need! Sitting on the deck with our coffee/wine enjoying the cool, fresh air was the best! And there was an entire cabinet full of games to play! I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!
Our family stayed here to attend our niece’s wedding. Great place! Very clean and well-equipped. Beautiful setting. We even saw an elk up close! Thank you!
Beautiful view of the rim. And very close to Pine downtown.
The refrig./freezers were dirty alongwith the stove. Dishwasher was very hard to get to work.

We had a great time here, the cabin is fairly remote with the back of it lining up with the forest. Saw lots of wildlife and was able to experience nature but still had all the comforts of being in a home
Our little family loves this quiet location and the house works perfect for us! Hiking is right out the back door too! We hope to return again soon. Thanks Lisa for another great stay.
Reserved this wonderful home for Thanksgiving. Beautiful inside and out. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook/heat our Thanksgiving dinner. Loved the books and movies that were available. Back patio is wonderful but it was a bit too chilly to enjoy. Would definitely consider renting again.
Beautiful, very clean, great deck overlooking the great pine trees, the convenience of hiking trail right in the backyard. We would definitely stay again.
I can't say enough about this property and location, The home is great the location is great. If your looking for a nice clean cozy get away for a relaxing vacation this is the place. We have stayed here two years in a row and plan to stay again next year. My wife and I love it.
This is our second stay here. The house is spotless, the kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the deck is amazing. We watched the moon rise over the Mogollon Rim. Such a great escape from the city.
Great property to enjoy Payson, the pine trees, and the wildlife. Lisa and David were very responsive to questions and helpful. The property is very nice with a big deck to sit and enjoy the forest behind the property. For the 5 days we were there we had elk behind the deck only 10-15 feet away from us feeding and resting. Wonderful experience to sit there and observe the wildlife.
Nice property. Quiet, relaxing, and everyone enjoyed seeing the elk come through the property! Thank you for letting us stay at your mountain hideaway!
We are regular visitors to Pine. The area is beautiful, and hiking is one of the big draws. Having the Good Enough Trail come straight to the edge of the property was a big help. My husband hiked down Pine Canyon Trail 9 miles directly back to the house.
The property is very clean and obviously well cared for. In all the years we’ve been using rental vacation homes, I have brought at times my own utensils and pans for cooking because some of the homes simply do not stock very good cooking tools. This house had everything. I never even brought out the bag.
The separate game room was a huge hit with the grandkids, we were visited by a young family of elk, and we had plenty of room to spread out and find little little areas of our own. The gorgeous deck overlooked the National Forest directly behind, and the Mogollon Rim, which is one of our favorite parts of Arizona.
Lisa was a pleasure to deal with, very timely on answering questions, and helpful with information. We appreciated the nice touches in the house and are very anxious to return someday. We highly recommend this place, but it is with mixed feelings, because we want to have it available to us when we return!
Enjoy Pine, get to the pizza place, go up to the lavender farm, hike the nearby trails, and enjoy the elk, deer, and other wildlife right out the back deck.
Great experience. The house was wonderful. Lots of room. Enjoyed the game room and playing horseshoes! The host was great and very responsive. Would definitely stay again!
Had a great 5 days in this beautiful home.
Lisa is very responsive to questions.
The home is as described, clean, a well equipped kitchen that enabled us to cook a full thanksgiving dinner for 8. The deck is amazing and although we o my sat a couple of deer and elk on the property there were many in the neighborhood.
Definitely somewhere I would stay again.
Had a wonderful time with the fam getting away for the weekend. Property was wonderful and loved the hike outside the backdoor. We'll definitely go back!
The house was beautiful with a perfect private location backed up to the National Forest. Friendly elk visited us constantly while we relaxed on the deck.
The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend of cooking with friends.
