Fantastic retreat off the beaten path, but not too far away

I was looking for a long weekend to get away and enjoy some of the Shenandoah Valley. This was a great location. In the rolling Hills, away from busyness and all the lights, yet only a few minutes to the highway and some of the valley’s attractions. The listing says it’s a tiny house, pretty big for that, but still quaint, the best of both worlds. I would definitely stay again.

Great space inside and out!

We arrived in the rainy, pitch dark in December. We are 2 city girls so we were not used to this and a bit freaked out at first at how isolated it felt. But in the morning we were in awe of the beauty outside. We didn’t get to take advantage of the deck/firepit, but all the amenities inside were on point. Very comfy. Great communication too. If you’re not a fan of driving at night and arrive after dark, make sure you have all your eating/drinking necessities. The roads are a little daunting in the dark.

Great place on the country

This little house was just perfect for me while enjoying Shenandoah NP & other interesting places in the area. The owner was very responsive to my inquiries. Kitchen was well stocked. Good to have a W/D for laundry. I would recommend this rental for 1-2 persons. Very enjoyable stay.

Great Tiny Home Experience

My family and I stayed here after visiting the Shenandoah caverns. Everything was perfectly organized and clean. These hosts thought of every little detail from tea, coffee, board games. The fresh eggs from the farm and record player were such a nice touch. Anything you could possibly need was in this tiny home. I highly recommend as a couples getaway or a family with a small child. Would stay here again anytime!!

A wonderful little getaway

We had just a blissful time in this stay. It's a tiny house, but more tiny-ish - it has everything you need, and you never feel squished. The kitchen was so well-stocked, and it was a great vacation from regular life.

A Lovely Little House

I stayed at this lovely little place after a long day of driving. It was so beautiful to sit on the deck and listen to the beautiful sounds of nature while watching the sunset. Everything was clean and in order and the bed in the loft was very comfortable. My only regret was that I hadn't booked a second night.

Nice views!

Coming from the city I appreciated that the home is situated in the middle of wide open farmland. We enjoyed viewing the sunset and watching the hundreds of fireflies lighting up over the fields. It was a pleasant little house and getaway!

Our stay at the Charming, Comfortable Tiny Home was simply fantastic! Carol’s hospitality, attention to detail and willingness to accommodate were outstanding, making us feel right at home. The fresh eggs provided for breakfast were a delightful touch, and the cleanliness was impeccable! Despite its small size, the creative use of space was remarkable, and every essential item was available. The views of the farm and mountains were breathtaking, and waking up to the birds singing in the morning was the perfect start to our day. Overall, the stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this charming tiny home to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Why they chose this property

I thought it was just perfect for maybe a future retirement property, currently a great place for a short-term rental. I loved the views, the deck, and thought it was nicely laid out. It is a mostly flat lot, which is often hard to find in this area!

Also, lots of room for current and future gardening and landscaping!

What makes this property unique

Great views, moderate privacy. Perfect size. Lots of room to plant flowers, trees.
Starry nights. Hearing the farm animals, birds, and wild creatures call to each other. Clean! In a location not too far away.......
