New 6 bedroom Massanutten home with 3 king beds steps from all the attractions

Spacious and newly painted decorated home with mountain views perfect for a launching point to enjoy all of Massanutten resort activities. Enjoy the modern kitchen, relax on one of the 3 decks, or walk to nearby fishing pond, golf course, and ice rink. Ski resort and tubing are around the corner and enjoy the gorgeous views of the slope from the home.

Enjoy privacy -- Home backs up to the National Forest and provided ample privacy for a peaceful mountain stay.

Plenty of room -- With 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms there is ample room for a great family stay.

UPPER LEVEL - The three upper level bedrooms each have large king size beds with brand new luxurious and cozy bedding. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom. There is another full bathroom with an extra room with a sink.

Fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, all new appliances., Keurig and coffee maker, waffle maker, all new dishware, cookware, etc.

Outdoor space with gas grill on back deck.

A large great room with 75 inch TV is great to gather and enjoy. A modern kitchen has everything you need.

LOWER LEVEL -- A large family room with 65 inch TV, football table, air hockey table.

There are 3 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom with a second vanity located on the lower level. One bedroom has 2 queen beds. Another bedroom has a queen bed and twin over full bunk bed. The last bedroom has a queen bed. Our home is steps away from most of Massanutten main attractions- golf, skiing, tubing, zip line, bumper cars, mini-golf, water park, pool -- as well as beautiful hiking and biking trails. A fishing pond and family park with playground in just down the street from the home. Our home is located on the mountain so the driveway is uphill. You can have 3-4 cars on the driveway. There is street parking right in front of the home. Please make sure you park inside the white lines

Great family getaway!

Perfect home for JMU Graduation Weekend

We had a wonderful stay here for our daughter's JMU Graduation in May. We have a big family and this home fit all our needs. It was very spacious and clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the large dining area. The owners graciously accommodated a late checkout so we could enjoy a Mother's Day brunch! Would highly recommend!

Family Get Away

This house was absolutely amazing. I could not say one negitive thing about the trip. We took a family trip to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary. There was plenty of room for our large group, and activities for everyone in and near the house. My husband and I took a beautiful hike just minutes from the house. The owners were the best, and were extremely helpful.

Mountain Family Vacation

We had a great time and the property was beautiful. Updated/modern, spacious, clean. One small suggestion - there was no towel rack/hook in the shared main level bathroom so that would be a good thing to add. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Wonderful weekend trip.

Spent the weekend here for my sister’s 40th birthday. The house had plenty of room for our entire family and was well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the owners was very easy through the Vrbo app. The driveway, as other reviews mentioned, was steep, but we managed to get 4 full size suvs up it and parked with no issues.

Fall Fun

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this large, Massanutten Resort . There as plenty of room around the large table and a comfortable living room area. The kids loved seeing the deer walking on the hill behind the house. It was a perfect place for a fall getaway. The driveway is very steep and parking three cars took some planning. The fourth car parked at the bottom entrance to the drive.

Massanutten Home

This property is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was so well stocked, better than my own. We had everything we needed. The driveway was so steep that my husband and self could not navigate it. That should be noted in the house description. Our grandchildren had a blast hiking the trails on the skyline drive. They want to come back. Overall, a very positive experience. We would recommend this home.

Beautiful Home

House was great. Everything was as described. The driveway is ridiculously steep, but the homes are on the side of the mountain. We would absolutely stay there again. Host was great and answered questions immediately.

Great Family Gathering

We had a "meet in the middle" Family Birthday celebration at this Mountain View Retreat! We were a family of 11 ranging in years from 1-80. The house was spacious and plenty of room for everyone. We were able to break out into our own groups up or down but yet all come together for our meals at the glorious dining room table! The resort area had so much to offer too, we will definitely be returning...Thank you to our hosts for lending us your beautiful home!

Great except for driveway and parking

The house was clean and well equipped. A nice size for our large group of old friends. And there is lots to do in the area. The host, Lee, was very responsive. The major drawback is the extraorinarily steep driveway. It felt quite unsafe to us. We had 4 cars--2 Prius cars. The Prius have a low carriage that hit the steep driveway going up, even when we unloaded the cars. Drivers of two of the 4 cars in our group did not feel comfortable using the driveway. The driveway is the reason I would give this house a lower rating and would not stay there again.

Great home for a 3-generation family vacation!!

This home was perfect for our us, our adult children and their families. The kitchen was SO well stocked - an amazing amount of plates, bowls, etc. and everything you need to cook. Nothing was lacking. Both living areas were perfect and the dining table was great. The deck was large and had plenty of seating for all twelve of us. Bedrooms, linens, towels, etc. were also top notch. All three generations enjoyed the pool table. We would absolutely rent this house again if we ever go back to Massanutten.

Perfect for a large family

This home was PERFECT for our family of 10 (ages from 4-61). Plenty of space to spread out and come together for movies, game night, and gather around the larger table for family-style dinner. The house was clean, smelled fresh upon entering, and the kitchen was well stocked with necessary supplies for cooking. Would definitely love to stay here again!

It was very comfortable and well-thought-out. We could have used a few more written instructions---like how to turn on the gas fire. But overall it was excellent. And Lee the property manager was terrific---quickly answered our query on the morning it snowed and arrived to shovel us out a few minutes later. He was great.

Pre-Christmas Family Vacay

We had a great time at this property. It definitely deserves its “5 Star” rating. This house was clean, updated and met/exceeded all my family’s need. The driveway is Very steep and took some care navigating but most houses in the area are like that. The property manager was attentive and prompt answering any of our questions and providing assistance.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great time during our stay! The owners and property manager are amazing and allowed us early check in and check out. They were very responsive with their communication. The driveway was fine, just tricky if you have multiple cars staying since there not much room for parking. The bunk room is perfect for kiddos. The master suite was the only room with a formal on suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms upstairs had to share a bathroom and all bedrooms downstairs shared one bathroom. We loved that the property provided sheets/towels and paper products! So convenient!

Lovely home

My family and I absolutely loved the home and the resort options. We all wanted to stay longer. The home is just like the pictures. The only thing not pictures is the drive way. Every house in the neighborhood has the same extremely steep drive way. These houses are literally on a mountain. Having 3 cars was a little bit of a struggle but 4 cars may be doable. This is not a complaint. We still loved it!!
